It?s obvious that if LA wants to win a championship again they need build up a good team around kobe. Who u guys wanna see playing for the lakers next year ?
I would love to see us draft Raymond Felton, it is a possibility that he could fall right into our hands also. He is a defensive minded pg who has great court vision and can score, but he doesn't need to score to be effective. I would also like to push for that Boozer trade some more, I think with enough persistence, Utah will budge and give in. Offer them Caron and some expiring contracts or something along that line.
lakers should definitely go after shooters like michael redd and point guards/2guard like Larry Hughes and dump all their big contracts like brian grant and divac. However, i think a true big man is need the most.
With the lack of Shaq type of centers in the league, the Lakers need to go after a PF. I like Mihm, he just needs to improve on the road and quit the fouling! Getting a true PF and sliding Odom over to the other forward position would be great. Finally, like everyone else is saying, they need a PG - a defensive minded PG. This will let Kobe be less tired by the second half, since he is the only defensive option right now. They should have some $ going into the off season. I expect them to buy out Vlade's contract and hopefully find a way to dump Grant. I expect next year to be a good year for the Lake Show. However, this can all not happen if Mitch Kupcake has anything to do with it!
