hey guys a vast majority of the players drafted make it to the big tournament, which players do you think will make it on draft day that played this past year with teams who did not make the tournament. Personally if the Niagra purple eagles had not made the tournament my pick would have been juan mendez in the second round. looking forward to hearing your comments

I'd also love to see Mendez in the draft but...whats his potential, 6'7, thick build, in the NCAA he had his role as the esential big man, but i'm Canadian and i think Toronto should take a chance with him in the second round or something

Who know's what Toronto's gonna do, with the retarded GM Rob Cockhead, they better not pick a really crappy guy, they always seem to miss out on the good people and try to build around some guy and than hte guy leaves and now their screwed, i'd be happy if they just took a decent pick and maybe also just picked Mendez as an experiemtn or even just sign him, therer may be a future for him yet but from what i've heard, thats about as best as you'll see him, with 20/10 stats in college in a craptacular division but he's proven his worth against Oklahoma so we'll just have to see

You guys have looked over one of the best players in the nation... Ike Diogu of Arizona State...could be a lottery pick.

^^Well i mentioned i'd forget people lol, but yeah Diogu is an amazing inside threat and over his time at ASU he's developed that outside game more right? Basically he's going to be a solid player for sure. Let's see, there's definately more though, there has to be. Well I don't have enough college basketball knowledge but i'm sure there are plenty more than you'd expect.

There are quite a few good players that will fit this category. Ike Diogu, John Gilchrist, Antoine Wright, Travis Diener, Ryan Gomes are all great players.

I would have to say Drake has the ability to play on the NBA too. his size and ability to shoot give him an edge over Travis, but Drake isnt a pure 1 and his athletecism isnt enough to have him play the 2. Both of these kids played in the Badger State games as Freshman when I was a Sr in HS. Also played some AAU ball with my cousin when I was in college. I've played some with them, and I know that if I've been in NBA teams Summer Leauges that they could both hang with someone or at least, if not get drafted, get an invite. Drake reminds me a lot of one of my favorite players I've ever played with, and that's Kirk Hinrich. A lot of similar ability, and size, and both are the sons of coaches, so their knowlwdge of the game and how it is played is a natural advantage.
