The Warriors could probably win a few games without Baron Davis if the rest of the club steps up. The problem is who creates the offense? Baron makes it easy for everyone to score because he's unstoppable (power and quickness mixed with outstanding playmaking capabilities). Everyone collapses on him and anybody who is open will get the ball. But confidence was a major factor in this club being able to close out the 4th quarters like they do now. Nobody gets down on themselves, which is why I suspect Dunleavy's game has improved (That and him finding out he's not being traded). Dunleavy always gets down on himself, which is why I think Barnett, the Warriors tv/radiocaster, gets so over-sympathetic and goes out of his way to explain him and pump him up. heh.

Also with Dampier, you got to admit it was his defensive prowess that made him scary. He blocked shots with authority and he was incredibly strong in the post and he could cover the paint really well. Biedrins could very well fit in this role both on offense and defense. Biedrins has a drop step post up move he can use against weaker opponents and he has soft hands, something that Dampier didn't have. Biedrins is probably a better athlete than Dampier, although he lacks the same upper body strength. Time will tell, but to get a double double in your first career start was pretty good for the youngest, physically undeveloped player in the NBA.
