"The doctor gave medical orders to Carlos to keep his foot completely immobilized, except during physical therapy, for three weeks," agent Rob Pelinka said Thursday. "He found some inflammation related to tendonitis in Carlos' foot and recommended a period of rest to calm the [inflammation]." </div>

Its not like we are fighting for a playoff spot. I think it will be better in the long-run to keep him out and let guys like Humphries play. We also need to make forsure that Boozer is healthy before we let him play.

Carlos Boozer should be fully recovered from his injury when he returns, whenever that is. If he is rushed back, and gets another injury to his foot, then who knows what could happen to him? Better safe than sorry.

Lol, I agree. Playoffs have been out of sight for weeks. [IMG] Let young kids play and get some experience. See what it's like to get blown out game, after game, after game, after game.....

Looks like Boozer is having a nice little vacation in the middle of the season...which is fine with me. Just come back 100% next year, that's all I ask.

Picked this up on another forum. The guy was attending the group fans lunch for season tkt holders at the Delta Center with Sloan and other Jazz digs today.

    Sloan on Boozer's status:

About when boozer will be back - he says "Boozer had a cast removed and is now in a boot for about 2 weeks, says about another week in the boot or so.. he says he looked at boozers x-rays, he says it doesn't look good and he isn't even a doctor. he said the injury is minor, he's not sure if surgery is necessary or not."
