lol i was in a nba live fantasy league when i noticed that someone had keon clark. i just had to laugh look at this guy. he was a great center for us avereged 11 and 7 or 8. was playing great. once he hits free agency he turns his back on the raptors and signs a contract with the king. he does decent there then gets traded to the jazz where he does nothing. i felt so bad for this guy who was doing great in the nba and was being called a future allstar and now hes not even signed. than i had to laugh cause he would of been doing great if he stayed in toronto cause he owuld of been our only big man for the last few years next to davis and bosh. just wanted to see wat u guys think of him
yup sad story and he had some problems with us and calling carter a baby...now that carter not here.....keon give us a call lol jk well maybe he should try out with us during the off season see if he still has it =/
he wasn't a team player anyway, he only cared about his stats. besides, when carter was here, nobody was pleased with him, counting from oakley, AD, to keon. all of them had say he doesn't work for his status "all-star". back to keon, reporters had him playing golf all season, instead of working out and developing his skills, and when the cavs did asked him to work out, he actually didn't report to the try out, without any notice, while he agreed to show up. i couldn't want someone with that kinda work ethic in our team. do u? he is totally the opposite of what babcock is trying to put on our team, die hard, play hard. even if we lose, we know we r getting the best from all our players. well...except murry....
You can tell he had/has no comitment, or else Clark could have been an all star today. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">keon give us a call </div>By the way I don't think Keon will be giving the Raptors any kind of call(s), I heard dude doesn't even have a phone.
Clark didn't turn his back on Toronto. We were capped out and didn't make a competitive offer for him to consider staying, and who would want to stay around and lose in Toronto when you can play for a championship? Even if we do give him a call, I doubt he'd play here. Something's wrong with this guy nowadays, he had a workout scheduled with Cleveland, but didn't even show up.
I always liked Keon a few years ago, and thought he had a lot of potential. But that seems to have gone down the drain, obviously due to a lack of desire, work ethic, attitude etc. If he had put that it, he'd be a success, but now, his career is probably over. Too bad
no, what happened? considered something bad happen to his dad. this doesn't seem like its only happened to him....jordan, reggie, b.wallance, they all had went thru the same thing.... so this can't be an excuse.
dont blame the guy leaving for more money, that type of selfishness can be tolerated or even accepted, but taking cheap shots at carter before the playoffs with the pistons even began just because keon had good enough stats to go elsewhere is the type of selfishness that cant be tolerated. the guys a prick, guys like him in the long run are always detrimental to a team. if we want to sign him give a contract similar to loren woods* with an "attitude clause" hahahaha if he's a prick he's out!!!!!!!!!!!! *loren woods has a short contract that is for little money, also we could have cut loren woods in february if we wanted to. since we didn't he has one more year left on it.
Keon clark could be called a heartbreak story...he was such a good player for us...he seemed to lose his abilities to do anything now...but the problem for keon is money....money is the root of all people indeed
