it was just trash talk, but it did seem like Wade was pissed at Kobe by the end of the game or so.

You can read the recaps on ESPN.com or NBA.com and find out. Kobe stole the ball of Wade a couple times, and Wade blocked Kobe's shot a few times. And there was some talking going on between them.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bryant raked the ball away from Wade on the wing, setting up a Lakers fast break which ended at the other rim with Wade swatting Bryant's layup away. Wade was whistled for a foul, but that's when the game-long chirping started between O'Neal's current and former sidekicks. They also exchanged words and glares as the first half ended, which Wade later described as a major spark.

I don't think it is anything big, Wade doesn't seem like the kind of guy to get into a 'rivalry' with somebody, he is just so humble. I just think the media is blowing this up then what it really is.

The block was definitely clean after watching it in slow motion on the replay. After that Kobe and Wade started jawing at each other. Friendly trash talking I guess you could call it. Wade had a great game, and Kobe had a great first half. Should be a good rivalry for the next few years between Wade and Kobe.

But Wade is a fierce competitor. Trust me, he already said that Carmelo and Bron were rivals to him, and they bet money on who was going to have the best sophmore year.

Just trash talk, which Kobe seemed to kick off after Wade blocked him. That contnued after Wade blocked him again and a few other occasions.

Dwayne dominated that matchup however, and I though he showed up Kobe, particularly how Kobe nver ws able to stay with Wade on defense, he lost him on pretty much every play.

Kobe did not guard Dwayne Wade all that much in this game, Caron Butler did.

Yeah he's humble but only so humble in a way that he wants to continue to get better. And he'll need those rivals to stay motivated.
They just exchanged words, i don't think they were exchanging any harsh words.
    What they said
Kobe : "You can't stop me"
Wade : "I'll be here all night man"
They both had a lil smiles on their faces anyways so i don't think there were any harsh comments.
    On Christmas Kobe told Wade
"I know Shaq calls you Flash but I'm the flash here"

Wade is starting to believe his own hype. This is going to be a rivalry in the future. It would be good to watch. Kobe will probably come out on top but it would be nice to see one of the most liked players against the most hated player in the NBA go after each other.

Like was said above, it's just a rivalry, everyone has it, to show someone up, it's nothing huge.

It wont really develop into a rivalry, playing only twice a year. The media uses trash-talk to try and convey a rivalry but the truth is that almost every player trash talks. Its a part of the game. Some people just get highlighted doing it and get flak for it. Trash talk is rarely personal and most of it is just becuase of the heat of the battle. Dont read too much into it.
