I am having an ugly day so far, hopefully the later games will help me out a lot. They are down 14 right now to Utah with about 13 mins left in the game, I am hoping for a run or something...
Yeah, this game has really surprised me because Bogut has been totally shutdown, but Jackson and Hawkins have played great games to replace for what Bogut hasn't done. This is not a team that I'd want to play, and it if UK wins tonight, looks like I'll have to live with it.
Utes win 67 - 58. Justin Hawkins steped up for Utah, 20 points and 13 rebounds. Andrew Bogut barely got a double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, but also contributed 7 assists. Bryant Markson played well for the Utes. This helps out my bracket a bit .
Bogut was not shutdown, he just improvised his game and opened up the floor for his teammates. I guess Oklahoma didn't know or believe Bogut was a great passer.
Voodoo has to be loving the Austin Bracket. So far Syracuse and Oklahoma have dropped. The Oklahoma loss hurts me pretty bad in my bracket, I had them going to the Elite 8. Duke & Kentucky are the only top seeds left.
My Austin bracket=crap. I had Syracuse and Oklahoma in the regional final, ha, look how that turned out.

All that matters is that they really got it done today, and will now take on the winner of Kentucky-Cincinnati.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Timberwolf:</div><div class="quote_post">Didn't figure Utah would upset Oklahoma today.</div> I definitely saw it coming and picked Utah to win on my bracket. Bogut was shutdown scoring wise with only 10 points, but had 7 assists and 11 boards. Should be very interesting to see what Tubby plans to do on Bogut.

Bogut is a winner, and time and again he set up big baskets in that second half. The sign of a good player is being able to contribute in other ways once an aspect of your game has been shut down. A very mature play at the end of the game too, with the chance to add to the statline with an easy dunk, instead Bogut just held onto the ball and ran the clock down. Small, but significant to the sort of player he is.
