Who would you guys field on YOUR all time dream team? I say "your" and not "THE" because I realize guys on my team like William Henderson and Mark Tauscher are likely not Hall of Famers. These are the guys I'd pick off the top of my head... QB ? Brett Favre QB ? John Elway WR ? Jerry Rice WR ? Steve Largent WR ? Art Monk WR ? Tim Brown TE ? Shannon Sharpe TE ? Ozzie Newsome RB ? Walter Payton FB ? William Henderson OL ? Larry Allen OL ? Bruce Matthews OL ? Dan Dierdorf OL ? Mark Tauscher OL ? Willie Roaf K ? Gary Anderson P ? Ray Guy
QB ? Dan Marino QB ? John Unitas WR ? Jerry Rice WR ? Raymond Barry WR ? Chris Carter WR ? Willie Gault TE ? Kellen Winslow Jr TE ? Mike Ditka RB ? Walter Payton FB ? Larry Czonka OT - Boselli OG - Larry Allen C - Dermontti Dawson OG - Upshaw OT - Shell
i havn't watched football for the long only 5 or 6 years so i'll make mine out of current players qb- payton manning qb- joey harrington (just cuz hes my fav player and i think he'll end up being great, plus he wouldn't play much with payton on the team) WR- Rany Moss WR- Terrell Owens WR- Tory Holt WR- Chad Johnson TE- Antio Gates TE- Tony Gonzolas RB- Tomlinson FB- Cory Schlisinger OL-Orlando Pace OL-Damien Woody OL-Dominic Raola OL-Walter Jones OL-Alex Barron K- David Achers P- Nick Harris
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Mike Mady)</div><div class='quotemain'>i don't know why the two of you took payton as your qb IMO Barry was much better</div> No one was a better player than Walter Payton, whats more, no one was a better person.

I'm shocked that not one person chose Anthony Munoz for their o-line. I also thought Gonzalez wouold have led the TEs in most lists. The mere absence of Joe Montana (and Dan Marino) was the biggest factor in proving the non-scientificity of this poll.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kcgsc)</div><div class='quotemain'>Sorry BF1, Of course, I still would champion Montana, but at least you got Dan the Man on there.</div> Not a lot of room on roster, but if i were going top he would probably make it.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Mike Mady)</div><div class='quotemain'>i don't know why the two of you took payton as your qb IMO Barry was much better</div> You put Joey Harrington on your team and you have the nerve to question the selection of Walter Payton by others? Someones been sniffing a little too much glue....

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>No one was a better player than Walter Payton, whats more, no one was a better person.</div> Much as I hate the Bears, I agree with BF1 on this one. I even have two Bears on my Defensive team! Good Lord! As for Joe Montana? Eh... I never liked him. No slam on his legendary ability...just a personal dislike...
This one is a little tougher than the D. For QB, I would take Montana and Unitas, no offense to Marino either. RB has to be Payton. Bo Jackson would be a consideration in the Sayre-esque what if way. FB - have to think about an all-Bears backfield here with Bronco Nagurski. WR - Jerry Rice, Lance Alworth, Steve Largent, ????? TE - Gotta go with Ditka or Novacek G - Larry Allen, John Hannah T - Anthony Munoz, Art Shell C - Mike Webster K - Gotta to with Gary Anderson, although there are a couple other current players tight in the running. P - Ray Guy
QB- Joe Montana Dan Marino RB- WALTER PAYTON Jim Brown FB- Larry Johnston William Henderson TE- Tony Gonzalez Kellen Winslow Sr. (even though his son is a SOB) WR- Jerry Rice Lynn Swann Randy Moss Marvin Harrison OT- Orlando Pace, Tony Boselli OG- Larry Allen, Bruce Matthews C- Orlando Kreutz ...How come nobody else even mentioned Jim Brown as their running back?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>How come nobody else even mentioned Jim Brown as their running back?</div> I would have said Jim Brown...if Walter Payton never existed. By the way, hoodie7, I think you mean Olin Kreutz, don't you? Bit of a typo there...
Jim Brown lacked versatility. He did not catch ball, was not a great blocker, but the main reason, I forgot him
