On Saturday in Washington, Sloan made one more switch: Ben Handlogten, who earlier in the day signed his second 10-day contract of the season, made his first NBA start in place of center Curtis Borchardt.
Without specifically naming Borchardt, who did not play, Sloan made it clear why the change was made.
"I thought Ben did a fine job," Sloan said after Handlogten, who has spent most of his career in Europe, finished with five points and five rebounds while logging 19 minutes in Utah's 96-95 loss to the Wizards.</div>

Maybe this will wake up Borchardt and teach him that we are not giving up. We maybe doomed to the lottery, but we are not just going to lay down. Plus its kinda sad when a guy on a 10 day contract starts over a guy with a contract all season.
