<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There was no shortage of playing time Sunday, just players.

With Jason Richardson returning home to Michigan for personal reasons and Adonal Foyle out with the flu, coach Mike Montgomery was forced to mix-and- match his lineup. At one point, the Warriors featured Derek Fisher, Nikoloz Tskitishvili, Rodney White, Mike Dunleavy, and Zarko Cabarkapa as unit.

The unusual lineups came with at least one upside: the Warriors got a chance to scout some of their new players.

Tskitishvili played for the first time in four games, finishing with three points in eight minutes. He also had a nice pass to White for a layup in the second quarter. White had four points. </div> Source

It was good to see Biedrins start. He should start over Foyle for the rest of the year in my opinion. He is capable of putting up double-doubles a lot. And will be a legitimate low post threat once he gets some moves to go with his 180 dunks, put backs, and left open points. Right now I'd keep Beidrins in the starting line-up and if he does bad, let Foyle play a bit more, but still start Biedrins kinda like Monty was doing with Dunleavy earlier this year

That's one damned expensive backup we have in Foyle then.

He's already a damned expensive starter, at his talent level... [IMG]

[IMG]</div> That seems even worse the way you put it, Wild Child. [IMG] The fact the guy was intended to be a starting center even after he hadn't played much of last season and only had that one game where he was playing remotely like Dampier. Ya figure he'd be a bargin bin center if he wants to start. I mean look at Speedy Claxton: I want to start. great! Show us you can start. Very friendly contract. Maybe Foyle being close to being the Warriors all-time shotblocking leader had to do something with it. Foyle did beat out Joe Barry Carroll this season (I can't find the source but I think I saw it on one of the game broadcasts). Is Foyle still the NCAA alltime leader in blocked shots still?

We see Adonal juggle passes and clank some easy putbacks but many also see a guy who not only blocks a lot of shots but alters even more-and will dive for a loose ball. The W's looked around at who else could be had and wisely hit the panic button. Andy may soon be playing more than Foyle but until he's a bona fide star, having a C,like Foyle ,who can play D,rebound,is nessecery.

Yes I agree we need Foyle's presence on D, but he wasn't worth this much. Biedrins is still much better on offense and almost on D
