    Dunleavy considers 2 points

The idea of playing Livingston and Jaric together appeals to the Clippers coach.

LOS ANGELES ? Clippers rookie point guard Shaun Livingston, limited most of the season by a pair of injuries, will get substantial playing time down the stretch, Coach Mike Dunleavy said.

But that does not mean Dunleavy has given up on the season.

"I'm excited about the games we have left,'' the coach said Tuesday. "Seeing our guys try to play at a high level. It could be a positive for us right now.''

In Monday night's 96-89 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, Livingston and guard Marko Jaric played together for the first time since Nov. 21. Livingston missed 52 games because of knee and shoulder injuries. Jaric missed 32 games because of stress fractures in his right foot.

Dunleavy can now pair the 6-foot-7 backcourt players, showcasing their offensive and defensive versatility. The plan is to use the last 15 games to experiment and explore.

"I'd like to see us push the ball up the floor a little bit more,'' Dunleavy said. "I'm hoping we can rebound the ball better and be more disruptive defensively.''

The game flows a lot better when they're both on, their's a lot more ball movement, and it definately does help. The 2 PG lineup is nice.
