After two tough losses to the Boston Celtics and then to the Minnesota Timberwolves we had a sloppy but good win against the Miami Heat, we?ll try to go on another winning streak [IMG] but this won?t be an easy match, LeBron James has been playing great lately, even getting a career high and Cavaliers franchise record in points in one of his recent games, finishing with 56!

This will be a good match, the last time we played the Cavaliers we beat them, but this time we don?t have our starting PF Juwan Howard, which has hurt us in the past few games. LeBron James and Tracy Mcgrady, this is the reason why I expect the game to be exciting, T-Mac has shot horrible in his past few games! Hopefully since we?re playing an excellent team with an excellent player he?ll step up his game. Yao vs Ilgauksus will also be a good matchup, both were also in the All star game, to win this, we really need T-Mac to get out of his shooting slump and Yao to have one of those awesome games again!

This will be the second game we see Torraye Braggs on the boxscore (dunno of he?ll play), I?ll be honest I didn?t see any of him last season, but by the posts I?ve read around here, he played quite well for the short amount of minutes he did play. Like I said before T-Mac has got to get out of this shooting slump! The past few games he?s been horrible! David Wesley has had a few good games though, the one against Phoenix he played very well!

did you guys see the 360 layup by mcgrady??? that's incredible.. i like today's t-mac, he's attacking the rim and not relying on his jump shoot more often.. still a poor shooting night for wesley though..

Yeah, McGrady is ridiculous tonight. It's like, every few games he'll make a play or two that remind you just how explosive and exciting he is. Tonight he has like 5-6 of those at half! A nice stretching layup with the left, a nice up and under scoop, the 360 craziness, and two nice dunks including the one over Gooden. I may have forgotten one.

I'd like to see this more often.

yeah.. today tmac is just keep on attacking the rim, and that's good coz it's actally his style of play.. he was not much of a jump shooter when in orlando.. and did you also see Yao's block on ilgauskas?? that was sick.. it was like he grabbed it from behind and just took away the ball..

Houston are going to run away with this one. 21 point lead right now with just 2 minutes to go this game. Defense has been great, giving up just 74 points. McGrady's having a big offensive game, shooting well and making his free throws. Balanced scoring from everyone else, but I'd like to know why Yao has taken just 9 shots. That won't be the way to go if we still want to keep winning games, and from the past few games, we really need to get Yao involved more.

    houston won 99-80

it was a good display of basketball from rockets both offensively and deffensively..
T-mac is really back to his old self attacking the basket and occasionally taking easy shots (not crazy shots like he used too in last 4 games)..
Bob Sura stepped up big distributing the ball and setting up plays, he also grabbed many rebounds tonight..
Wesley surely was not on his best performance, he missed many open shots from 3 point line..
Padgett and Weatherspoon rotated well and contributed a decent performance..
Mike james and Mutombo came up big from the bench, especially late in the 4th quarter James hit a couple of big threes to extend our lead..
One thing that is rather dissapointing though is Yao Ming, he didn't do much except for the amazing block, i wouldn't say he had a bad game, its just that i expected more from him.. Ilgauskas and Gooden really did a good job to contain him..

Oh and one last thing, the crowd was a little bit dissapointed coz cleveland managed to score 80 points in the end and mike james wouldn't want to shoot the ball at the dying seconds of the game to make it 100 points for houston.. so no free big mac for the fans [IMG]

Well, we're now biting on Sacramento's heels right now. If they lose their game tonight against the Mavs, we're in fifth place. [IMG]

I'm curious, who guarded Lebron James?

I hope Mcgrady did, and maybe it signifies he really wants to play good defense now.

They rotated their defense on Lebron, sometimes its wesley, sometimes its padgett, but most of the times its T-mac though who guarded him.. its actually not t-mac guarded him well, its just lebron had an off night

And Trip, right now i'd rather be at the 6th spot than move up to fifth. Mavs are getting more and more dangerous especially since avery took control the team, they really step up their defense.. on the other hand i heard sonics just lose Rashard Lewis due to injury, i dont know how long he will be out but he's out for tonight's game againts portland

I don't believe that we should purposely tank just to face better opposition. There will be plenty of time for that if we want to do it come April. Right now, I think that we should just try our hardest to get home court advantage. Even if we not move up to fifth by winning, we might end uo there anyways if Sacramento keeps up their poor play since the Webber trade,

What a game by the Rockets. Lots of highlights from TMac's 360 degrees lay-up, Yao's block on Z to Barry's behind the back fastbreak pass to TMac. It's good to see that TMac regain his good shooting percentage as well as Mike James. Padgett, Deke, Yao and Sura did a good job controlling the boards. Lebron has an off night.

I hope we can build a good winning streak again with the next 5 games against injury-plague teams with the latest against the Jazz who lost Kirilenko for the season after he broke his wrist earlier in the game against the Wizards.

BTW Dallas lost so we're still no. 6.

Man why can't TMac attack the rim all the time like he did last night..........that 360 layup was unbelievable, me and my brother in law were in a state of shock when he did it..........then he handed out two facials to Gooden and Illgaskus (guess that's how u spell his name)..........so many highlights from last nights game (Tmac,Barry,Deke).........great win, we should man handle the Hornets tonight
