but I didn't think that ANY other fans in the league would share my fury with my teams inability to "play the right way". Meaning playing the Defense of high school slumber party and making offense look like rocket science (can't figure it out). One of your posters came into our forum and shared that he felt similar about the Lakers. I didn't believe him until watching the Nugget game. During the period when the Lakers blew 2 or 3 lay-ups in a row. I don't know how the team is feeling about "tanking", but I believe that Kobe won't hear anything of it. I personally hope that his team starts to play better and give Kobe a reason to smile again.

What a difference a year makes right Sabretooth?

It's really frustrating when only one player performs each night at a high level and wants nothing more than win games. Kobe and KG are in similar situations this year, while their GMs surround them with pre-madonna players who refuse to challenge themselves and play an ounce of defense.

I really hate seeing my 2 current favorite players have to go through this.

    hard

Its a lot easier to sympathize with KG who didnt do anything than to sypathize with Kobe who brought it upon himself.

Care to back that up with facts instead of media rhetoric?

^^ There is no "facts". perhaps he's talking about the LA dynasty destruction which at MOST Kobe would be responsable for 1/4th of the reason (ill give you hints on who the other 3 are, they ryhme with -Snack,Pill,Cuss)

LA, a professional team with 14 championship banners.... 2nd only to the Boston Celtics 16. The new lakers seem to forget that history and prestige' that comes with wearing that jersey that say's "LAKERS" on the front. Some of the greatest players of all time have donned it and WON. Time for these kids to realize that too.

That's one thing that I personally believe should be looked at before any trades or drafts. The Lakers are a historic franchise and the players that are brought in should really have an understanding that coming their puts alot of weight on their shoulders. I know that in most trades, the traded players don't have a choice, but imagine players who just don't give a bleep? That's one of the reasons that Peirce feels pressure.

The biggest loss ever to the Laker franchise was when they lost Jerry West. He wouldnt have let Shaq leave. He would have brought new talent. and we would be winning

Bingo, we have a winner...if West did let Shaq go, he would of got another allstar in return...not a role player (Butler), a role player with a huge contract (Grant), and an above average, not yet a star player (Odom).

This is the most absurd statement I have ever heard, how did Kobe bring this upon himself? Shaq asked to be traded so don't even try that arguement, and Phil wasn't going to come back, he wanted his 10th ring, with Shaq gone the Lakers were going to have to rebuild, he would not of got it so don't use the arguement he drove out Phil either.

The rumor is Phil Jackson drove Jerry West out of Los Angeles. They had different views on how to build a winner. But, who really knows?
