I'll be at this game tonight. I hope the Clippers pull this out and make it a 3 game win streak! [IMG]
If the Clips win, I might even stay and watch Frankie Muniz & Ice Cube play in the celeb game afterwards.

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Clippers look to finish a solid four-game homestand Friday when they host the Washington Wizards.

After losing in overtime to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, the Clippers have responded with consecutive victories, including Wednesday's 116-108 triumph over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Corey Maggette scored 34 points and Elton Brand had 24 and 10 rebounds for Los Angeles, which held on after taking a 19-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Making his first career start, rookie Shaun Livingston recorded a season-high 11 assists.

Following this homestand, the Clippers, who are 6 1/2 games out of a playoff spot with 14 games remaining, will play their next seven contests on the road.

The Wizards opened their five-game road trip with an embarrassing 127-98 loss Tuesday to the Denver Nuggets.

Gilbert Arenas scored just four of his 25 points in the second half and Washington committed 20 turnovers en route to its 10th loss in its last 12 road games.

The Wizards will be looking to complete their third straight sweep of the Clippers after a 94-91 victory in the MCI Center on February 11 behind 35 points from Arenas.

    Thanks for postin this!

Like I said in the Clipper forum, I expect Washington to pull away in the last 4 minutes. Either way, win or lose, it should be a great game.

    Go Washington!

I think the Clippers will take this, like the Wizards, they're a good home team, and a bad road team, and with them being at home, and the Wizards on the road, they have the advantage. Talent wise the teams are on par with each other, and like I said, who is going to stop Maggette?

As long as Maggette doesn't decide to test his jumpshot today if it's not falling, he should have a 30+ night.

Arenas is back in his hometown, so look for him to put on a show.

EDIT: I have to watch this game on mute, this is why I don't watch Clipper games, their commentaters blow. They take so many shots at other teams and their players it isn't even funny, the first 4 minutes have all been bashing Kwame and Jared Jeffries...

Ugly game..something Just happened w/Kwame, he threw a towel on the court...I think he needs his season to be over with. I feel bad for the guy, he worked his ass off in the offseason to be injury plagued all year...

We are lingering behind, we need to catch fire right now...

EDIT: Kwame and Haywood had a heated arguement, almost a physical altercation. Kwame will not be back next year, book it. If he wants to be successful in this league, he needs a new team. Nothing good will happen for him in Washington because Eddie Jordan runs a guard-oriented style of ball.
