I missed the game, as I went out, so can anyone give me the breakdown on what happened? I know a lot of people miss the Friday games, I normally miss the second half of them myself, and catch highlights later, but I watched very little of the game today. I see that Bosh had a huge game in the loss with 24 points and 22 rebounds, and Alston and Marshall both did good too, but Rose was terrible offensively. All I remember seeing was Dalmbert turning and hitting a 17 foot jumpshot in the first quarter.
Well I can't really remember (I know, terrible memory - only 2 hours after the game but Chris finally came back from that back injury thing - he had 3 wicked dunks early in the game. Jalen threw down his headband late in the 4th and got a technical - that was probably the reason why the Sixers won this one. I was really pissed that at the end Jalen shot the ball - they should have given it to Chris!! Er - it was tied at the half and Donyell got 7 threes - again. LOL. I can't really remember the rest.
I only saw the 4th as i went out as well, but all i can tell you is that bosh had a big game, and iverson hit the game winning shot with 2 seconds left in the game to win it for the sixers.
all i can say is that Rose should not have been forcing his shots during the strech, beacause he didnt have it going, he should have given up that last shot to someone else also.
Rose was forcing up shots when his teammates were hot. Philly really should have been punished for allowing Donyell to run riot again
Good game by us but why Jalen Rose took our last two shots ??? Rafer can win this, CB4... and also D-Marsh, Jalen was in a dream i don't know what happend to him this night.
He probably feels he's Mr. Clutch and it's his duty to take all the shots in the 4th quarter. If they're good shots, than that's good, but he just takes some awful shots... and when he's not hot they don't coem close to goign in.
I didn't have a chance to watch th egame either, but I saw highlights. My question is, why was Alston, Rose, Bonner on the court for the possesion where AI scored the game winning shot? It should've been something more like Milt, Mo', E-Dub/Pape . The outcome might of not been different, however, it just seems smarter having 3 of your better defenders on the court instead of 2 of your worse and 1 player who's mediocre...
A lot of people on the raps site were saying Rose shouldnt have gotten the last shot, and that we wrecked the game for us. Well, if he didnt get that tech it would have made the difference, cause maybe Webber wouldnt have made that shot right after the tech FT thats +3 pts.. Jalen shouldnt of got that shot, he didnt have a good game, and theres a low chance of things changing all of a sudden with 2 sec left. But hes been doing amazing things for us past games, and sometimes was the reason we did win those games, so this was just one game. It is really annoying with him on the refs all the time though.
Rose is clutch in that he hit shots down the stretch, but in terms of game winning shots, that's not his thing, down the stretch he scores on posts ups, or from other people setting him up for a jumper, but face up shooting over someone isn't his best weapon.

Something like what he did vs the Bucks this year is what he should be doing...or what he did against the Bucks and Cavs last year. I don't remember how the exact plays last year in the crunch vs NOH, but he hit some pretty big shots down low with limited time left. Oh well, next year McCants will be taking those shots
i felt that Jalen always had a problem...he doesnt pass and feels like no matter what, he is the star of this team...i feel that he and vince(before) were bringing chris bosh down in terms of potential. they couldve given the shot to marshall or even bosh but jalen just stood there for a second then heaved it up. he always takes the last shot. i dont know if this is a problem with the coaching or the player. I think it's the players though. i remeber in a game before at the ACC, it was the last play of the game and Bosh was wide open and waved his hands but jalen still took the last shot. I dont think Jalen is an outstanding fit for this team although he is pretty good.
Jalen is good though, but when their's limited time left, and we need a basket, I don't want him being the one to create, when their's 2 minutes left, and we need to get back in the game, I'm fine with getting the ball to him all day.
the thing with jalen is he's not a clutch guy...he's a crunch time guy. there is a difference. clutch is last 30 seconds. crunch is last 6 minutes up to the last minute...i still think he should have given the ball to sumone else

Alston is our fast player and don't forget that he made a 3-pointer one minute before so you have to let him try to stop AI from scoring...
Rose lost us the game....but he's won us so many games that it's ok. And at least he takes the blame for the loss, unlike other players who make up lame excuses like "we didn't have our full team effort tonight" or "we didn't pick it up defensively."
