Imagine what he would do with someone like Sweetney or a center we'll get if we make the lottery. It would be nice just to see arguably the most popular Knick ever back with the team. I think this really is a pipe dream though. [IMG]

That would be awesome. But, like you said, it seems more like fantasy then reality, and he hasn't made Yao into quite the star we expected. Despite all of that, having Ewing back would definitely be :thumbs up:

I have a feeling he would come back to the Knicks if Herb Williams stayed the coach. And that is reason alone to give Herb Williams the head coaching job full time. Ewing showing Sweetney some of his patented moves in the low post will do wonders for him and us in the near future. Maybe turn him into that force in the paint I know Sweetney can be. I really hope Herb Williams gets the job.

Yao is not Ewing in any way, shape, or form. Period.

Agreed. I'm starting to become more and more of a Herb-lover. The players seem to respond to him in a superb manner. He's obviously very effective with these guys, they seem to play wiht more of a swagger then they had with Lenny.
I would love for Pat to come back, too. I would love the idea of him and Aguirre teaching Sweetney. Mo would benefit as well.

^So will our lottery pick. We'll have monsters in the front court along with a developing Ariza. Once Ariza gets some muscle, Aguirre might teach him a thing or too as well!

That would really nice to the Knicks orgnization to have one of its symbols within the orgnization. But I highly doubt that Houston will let him go this easily.
