    The quick release means he doesn't get blocked too often.

    I don't have any gripes with how Marion shoots, as long as he gets them in. He shoots them from his chest because he used to jump so high that the normal forehead-level release felt weird for him.

    The funny thing is that many of the best shooters don't have picture perfect form, Reggie, Bird, Stojakovic, but their's the one that do like Ray Allen, Allan Houston etc...

    Marion is not one of the best shooters, lol, but as long as his shot is effective, s'all good. I'm pretty surprised someone is just noticing his shot for the first time though,

    Ugliest shot in the NBA, but it doesn't matter because it works for him. The perfect shot is the shot that works for you, that is what Marion has.

    Of course it doesnt matter, if it goes in its a good enough shot, it just looked funny and yesterday was the first time i seen him play.
