I am going to the game this afternoon. I am going to fork up 200 bucks just to heckle McHale. I will be ranting, raving, and venting on how bad this season has been for the Timberwolves. It's been a year to forget and all. I will be chanting stuff like "Hey, McHale. Get out of the basketball industry after this year" or "I want Paul Silas".

I like McHale to know that I have not been happy with them all year.

As for the game, Timberwolves need to win back-to-back games this weekend. No, ifs, ands, or buts. They need these two games or they might as well pack up for golf season. They can't afford to blow those two winnable games.

maybe you should focus on routing for the team and not on dissing K.M while he's trying to make the team work....

I like to think McHale is professional enough to ignore me and just coach and prepare them. Besides I will choose and pick my spots like heckle McHale at warmups beginning and half and when he comes in and out of hte locker room. It's all in good fun. I like to think McHale has experienced it since he was a player.

Yeah I agree, but I doubt that it has any effect. Mchale has been in some of the biggest pressure situtions that you can imagine not as a coach tho...But as a player. Those old Laker/Celtic series in the 80's were brutal. Also he use to sit right in the middle of the fire as a GM over the last past years, so Iam pretty sure the heckling will have little to no affect on K-Mac doing his job.

Anyway difficult game for me personally, to see the Nets & Wolves both fighting for their playoff lives is quite sad, to be honest. KG should have a big night cause Krstic wont be able to stay out of foul troubling trying to guard him. And his versatilty is to much for JC, so the onlky way the Nets have some to at least stay in front of him is if Cliff Robinson gets extended minutes. But Cliff's minutes & production has been so up & down since ariving in New Jersey, you dont really know how much Coach Franks is going to play him. But Robinson usually does a good job against Garnett.

It should also be interesting to see if Mchale is willing to use a two point guard lineup at anytime during the game, I know its very unlikely. But the Nets play with a 2-point guard lineup for a full 48 minutes just about they start the game with Kidd and Jacque Vaughn in the backcourt. And then they sub in Travis Best for Jacque Vaughn, sticking with a two point guard lineup of Kidd & Best in the backcourt. And then after that they usually bring Vaughn back in for Kidd when he needs a quick breather. But Jersey hardly ever uses a natural shooting guard anymore, even with Rodney Buford back. So I just want to see if Mchale is willing to go with a two point lineup for match reasons at all during the game. Maybe Hudson & Carter or Cassell & Carter, Cassell & Hudson due to defensive reason is almost a no chancer. But anyway I would like to see what rotation changes both Coaches make to match, could be the difference in the game.

Also can Trenton Hassell keep Vince in check? If Vince goes off for 30-35 points I dont see the Wolves beating Jersey.

Yea i saw the game on the spanish channel today [IMG] It was an all around great game, especially Cassell coming off the bench with 23 points in 22 minutes , which is a pretty good ratio. Also when the cameras showed him on the bench he was smiling and laughing with the team. We need to keep our confidence level up.

I was at the game today as I said. I had a great time.

This was a fantastic performance by the Timberwolves. They brought lot of energy today and they played very hard. They were fantastic. Everyone played well and everyone contributed today. I am very proud of them.

Nets did not show up and I thought they quit in the second half.

I will have more to say about this game after I come from mass this evening. It was a fantastic experience. There were some interesting stuff on the Timberwolves that I will address tonight.

3 wins in a row, does that breathe life back into you T'Wolve fans? I think Sam Cassell's return has been the difference. I actually like him coming off the bench giving the TWolve's a scorer, and floor leader when the reserves come in. The T'Wolves still need some help down the stretch, but I still think they will find a way to sneak in.

Not too much of a breathe of life, because, knowing how inconsistent we have been, we can easily follow this up with a three game losing streak. I don't know whether to be optimistic or not, but I guess I need to, since we are right there in the playoff hunt. The way the Nuggets have been playing, it's going to be very difficult to get in. George Karl has them playing outstanding basketball, winning, what, 14 of their last 15 games or something of that sort? They need to start losing some games here, or else, we have no chance. They do have Sacramento and Pheonix in back to back games, so if we can win our two, and have them lose two, we are right there.

Well, they are on a good swing at the moment. They need to keep it up, there are a lot of big games coming up. I'm going to the game at Sacramento.

a good win by 20 points, thats what we should be doing.

Cassell was superb tonight, showing that he can get back to his all star self.

still, the nuggets are running away with the 8th spot right now, George Karl has them on a roll. thus, the next few games are a must win

Your right this team is so inconsistent that the level of their play can change on a drop of a dime, forget game to game, they can look like the best team in the league and the worst team in the league all in the same game depending on what half you see them in....But with that being said they know their backs are completely against the walls now, litle margin for error. And usually for a veteran team like the Wolves that can sometimes be a source of motivation. And a motivated Timberwolves team is going to be hard to knock off coming down the stretch, cause its all about a lack of energy & focus when this team struggles. But that goal of getting into the playoffs over the next few weeks will hopefully give them that focus....will they get in? now thats a totally different question, this focus and motivation may have come just a bit to late with the way Denver is ballin right now.

I had a very good time at the game as I said to you this afternoon. It was a fantastic experience and it was good to see a blowout by the good guys. It was worth 100 dollars. I paid 100 bucks to sit right by the Wolves and those seats was good. I was so close to the action and it was good to hear KG, Sammy, Mark Madsen, and McHale in live action. To get these seats at 100 bucks is a pretty good deal especially if you are there once a year like me. I rather fork up 100 bucks to see the Timberwolves than pay 60 or less and not see the action.

I got to see the warmups and the Timberwolves players seemed very determined out there today. They were itching to play. It was good to see KG and Wally shooting hoops and etc. They were so focused on warmups that I knew something good would happen.

Besides the win, my favorite part of the game was getting a chance to talk to Mark Madsen. That was a great experience and it was a treat to talk to Mark. Everything you hear about Mark on TV or read about Mark in the paper is true. When I yelled out Mark's name, Mark smiled and we embraced. We talked a little bit before and after the game. I just told Mark that I am sorry that he was out for the year, but I told him to get well soon and I thanked him for the job he did in his two years here. Mark spent lot of time with lot of fans besides me. I liked how he spoke to the kids at the game today. He was really good today. He is a good role model for lot of people IMO. I wish there were lot of people like Mark in this society. Anyone can learn from him in conducting ourselves with class and all. I came away impressed. Glen Taylor better find a way to keep Mark or I will not be very happy. Mark is a great player, great teammate, and most importantly a great human being. Mark is going to be in full demand by lot of teams for sure and I will not be a happy camper if Mark is wearing a new uniform especially if he is wearing a Laker or Spur. I encouraged Mark to stay with the Wolves for a long term and I asked him if he was going to be back. He just told me that we will see. Mark certainly made an impression towards me and lot of fans today. I also appreciate Mark encouraging the guys and the coaches on. He has the player's ear and you can see why he is popular with the players.

Wally Sczerbiak is the antithesis of Mark Madsen in terms of popularity. He is not well-liked on the team which is unfortunate. I notice Wally sitting in the floor as far as away as his teammates during timeouts or when he sat for a rest. That was an eye-opener. I thought Wally's bad relationship with the players was more ficitious than reality, but after today, it's true. It seems besides Mark and Fred, not many players like Wally. I don't know why. That's sad. Wally can be frustrating to watch at times, but overall, he gives his 100 percent. I felt bad for Wally. You have to wonder if Wally needs a change of scenery or something because this was unfortunate and disgusting. Wally is a part of a team and for him to be treated like a leper by his teammates is not very good.

It was good to see Ebi at the game. He was dressed with black dress shirt and black dress pants. When I yelled at Ebi's name, he was taken aback. I think he appreciated the fact that I took the time to scream his name and acknowledge him. After the game, I told Ebi to keep his head up and just keep working hard and good things will happen. I wish his teammates would be supportive to Ebi. Sounds like Ebi does not exist in the players mind. The only guy that was talking to Ebi was Mark as Mark and Ebi was staring at me.

Sam pulled a Randy Moss at the end of the game. With 59 seconds remaining, Sammy tried to go sneak into the locker room. That was pretty stupid of Sammy. Bad enough you walk to the locker room with the team winning, but it's even worse when you are doing yourself. One of the PR men told Sam to come back and Sam seemed pissed about it. Unbelivable. He is also rude to fans. He was like I want no part of you and all. He also said don't bother me. Unbelivable. What a spoiled breat. Great player and he is great when the cameras are on with the fake smile of his, but when the cameras are off, he is a total jagoff. I wouldn't mind seeing him go.

Latrell is another headcase. He was having that towel in his head all game long and he seemed sad. He had an enthauism of a funeral director. He acted like someone died. I know he did not get that extension that he wanted and that he is not having a good year, but it does not mean he should approach his attitude as if he is sad or as if his wisdom tooth was taken out. He seemed sad and unhappy even after a win. That was another eye-opener for me.

KG seemed like he was very tired and drained. He looked like he was about to collapse after the game. He could not say anything out there as he went to the locker room. His uniform was sweaty. Still I liked how he was committed and energetic. His attitude towards the game is contagious.

The main event can be happy that I did not heckle McHale too hard. McHale ignored me basically. He ran to the locker room as fast as he could after the game. He approached his run to the locker room as if he has to beat the traffic in a highway. He did not seem interested about being out there to coach. All I did was tell McHale about where is Flip Saunders and I ask McHale if Paul Silas is coming to coach the Wolves. McHale declined to not only speak to me or respond, but he never looked at my face. He wanted no part of me. That's too bad. I was looking to talk to McHale.

Randy Wittman, Timberwolves assistant coach, was another one. I tried to talk to Randy about Flip. I tried to wave to him. I yelled his name. I tried to get Randy's attention, but Randy seemed literally terrifed about me. He looked he was scared to confront me. I got the impression that he thought I wanted to attack him or harass him. That was very unfortuante. I even yelled "HOOISERS", but then Randy ran in the locker room as if someone was going to attack him as the game was over.

It was nice to see Sidney Lowe, Timberwolves assistant coach, acknowledge me with a thumbs-up and all. Good job by him.

Lot of Timberwolves fans in attendance today and I saw lot of kids wearing KG jerseys. Timberwolves gear was all over the place. Sounds like I have to get a T-Wolves shirt next year.

I have to say Nets fans are very laidback. They sit in their hands and they rarely react. Nets fans only go to the games just to see Vince dunk or see Jason Kidd make fantastic plays. They did not even boo after a stinkaroo performance in which the Nets quit in the second half. That amazed me right there. Another thing that amazed me was that I was acting so obnoxious at the game. I was screaming, dancing, high-fiving Wolves fans and all everytime the Wolves scored in the first, second, and third quarter. I was suprised Nets fans did not seem to mind. That was interesting. I cut it out in the fourth quarter. I have to assume that when the Nets move to NYC, I don't think I will be doing that type of stunt. Timberwolves players and the little kids got a kick out of my antics at least.

I enjoyed the interaction with the Nets fans at the game and at the bus. I spent lot of time talking about the TImberwolves problems this season and it wasn't any fun. I was very blunt with them about how I think the Wolves chances are making the playoffs is not very good. shapecity asked if the wins have made me feel different about the Wolves chances. While I am happy with the winning streak and a great performance, it does not change my outlook about the playoff picture. Wolves got a huge steep to climb. I cited the big West Coast trip as one of the reasons why the Wolves may be out.

The ridculous claim like 5 minutes of regulation. Nets fans are like banging those thunderstix while KG and Wally was making FTs. I told Nets fans to stop banging on them because it wasn't making a difference and odds are the Wolves won the game. That was hopeless and embrassing. I hated the sound of the banging thunderstix.

Nets announcer Spero Dedes, who did the game, is a jackass. Several fans tried to yell at his name in terms of acknowledgement, but he just ignored them. You would think he would give a thumbs-up or a wave or a smile at least, but he just went to the locker room. Pretty stupid of him considering he is not even established as a announcer. I like to think announcers are pretty classy, but they are no different than the players or writers. Leslie Boghesian, who is the Nets sideline reporter on YES, was very rude too. Several fans were chanting her name and she just ignored them too. Geez. You would think someone would appreciate fans yelling their name, but I guess Leslie thinks she is special.

As for the game today, it was a fantastic game and a fantastic performance. I was very proud of the entire team. They did a very good job. They were sharp and they did not let up at all. They were intense from the tipoff to the very end. Timberwolves were great defensively and they were quick to the loose balls and rebounds. That was the story today.

    Troy and Sammy was fantastic

    KG was solid especially defensively.

    Wally was great.

Michael played a good game. He has been solid under McHale. I feel Michael needs to have a coach who knows how to work with big men which is why I want Paul Silas coaching the Timberwolves next season. I think Silas can relate well to Michael.

Trenton played a very good game too. He was on fire in the first quarter.

As for the Nets, it's time for everyone to get off the Lawerence Frank bandwagon. The writers always kiss up to Frank all the time. Enough is enough. I personally think he is not doing a good job. Nets quit today. They did not play hard and they did not show up. Only guy who showed up was Nenad Kristic and that was it. Frank needs to be accountable as the head coach. The team quit today and they have had too many mail-in games this year. At some point, someone has to take the blame and it's time for Lawrence Frank to take a hit. His attitude of everything is going to be okay can only go so far. At some point, he needs to call his team out and today, the team had it coming. Lawrence Frank needs to lead his team to the playoffs. There is no excuse of not making the playoffs considering how Orlando and Indiana are having problems.

I had a great time today and I hope you enjoyed this post. I am glad I got the win and it was good to talk to the guys and the fans. I am looking forward to see the next Wolves game at Continental next year. My dream one day is to go to see the Wolves at Target Center.

Let's hope the effort can be carried to tommorow's game. I told the guy to have that same effort tommorow against the Clippers.

^^ Man thats so cool you got to sit that close, and actually talk to a player. I've only been able to see them live in person once, which was 2003 in Oct preseason exhibition when they came to Omaha which was pretty cool. Im surprized about what you said about Cassell, just when i was beginning to like him again [IMG] Yea I saw spree with the towell over his head and tucked into his shooting shirt, he does that alot but he can do whateva cause hes not coming back. I think KG was partying the night before the game thats why he was tired, haha jk.

For 100 bucks and to be that close is not that bad. I thought I would have to fork 200 bucks. 100 bucks is not cheap by any means, but I thought it would be more expensive. That 100 bucks was worth it. My bank account will take a hit though, but I had a time of my life and that's what life should be about.

I really want to thank Mark for taking the time to chat with me. I would have understood if he did not speak to me. I was okay with the players not chatting as long as they look at me in the eye and acknowledge my screams. I am glad Mark spoke to me. It was a great moment.

Sammy is Sammy. Great guy on camera, but a huge pain in the rearend off camera. He needs to stop with that fake smile on his face like Kobe Bryant.

I was really disgusted with Latrell having that towel over his head and I was disgusted with his attitude today.

But then again, when aren't T'Wolves fans disgusted with Latrell's attitude? Today should be no exception, because Latrell has a horrible attitude.

EDIT: Bad news as a result from this win....Denver beats the Kings tonight, so we remain three games back.

Just to add that Latrell was booed by the fans in introductions.

I would imagine he is booed everywhere he goes ever since that comment he made about "feeding his family".

Why is it that we can't petition for them to be deducted a 1/2 game due to the fact that their altitude gives them an edge.[IMG]
It just makes me think how badly the past Denver teams would have been beaten if the other team didn't need oxygen? [IMG]
