Either Way...they would slaughter us..especially the Suns with the way we play...err..attempt to play defense.

Warrick is to weak for the 4, and doesn't have the shot for the 3..I smell Darius Miles all over agian..

We need a pg first of all..Raymond Felton is the answer to our problems...court vision, enough offense, defense.

Then a PF- Wayne Simien would be nice...

Dunno which # the Lakers will receive but since they get 4, it would be interesting to see who gets drafted. It prolly be like the bulls now with KObe in it.

You mean Darius Miles without the handles, at least Miles could slash easily against 3's becaues of his ability to handle the ball.

The Lakers need a point guard that plays defense and from what I have seen Dee Brown from Illinois would be great and available at one of the Lakers picks if he comes out. The Lakers also need a power forward and I like the Ohio State kid Deile(spelling may be off). Also Granger out of New Mexico looks like a young Jimmy Jackson.

I posted this over at clublakers in a thread...might thought you guys would enjoy:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think we are going to be able to get any ideal power fowards (at least good ones with a good work ethic) thru free agency....I would try and pursue the Boozer trade, management are either sitting him, or he is overacting to the injury which = player movement.

Draft Raymond Felton with our draft pick....our starting line up will be:

    Felton
    Kobe
    Odom
    Boozer
    Mihm

With the 30th pick (Miami's pick as of now) we pick up Turiaf, and with our second rounder we pick up: Daniel Ewing and Channing Fry and our bench will consist of:

Atkins, Grant, Jones, Turiaf, Ewing, Fry, Walton, Slava, Cook, Sasha

That seems like a strong team, with a good balanced line up.

    What you guys think? </div>

That the direction I would go in the draft...you guy's thoughts?

I am sold on drafting Felton, he is what this team needs.

Then a big man with the Heat's pick would be awesome, Turiaf would be good..

Malone is one of the best PF's to ever play the game, that might be pushing it.

He reminds me of Etan Thomas with more offense.

Sorry guys i dont really follow college basketball so i cant post about theese things.

But all i know is we need a defensive PG with mad handles and great court vision somewhat like steve nash but with better defense and the offense doesnt matter.

Then we need to get a big with tiehter the MLE or throuhg a trade. Anything from Drew gooden to Carlos Boozer.

ANd we are pretty much set. Maybe we can even sign Stro for the MLE.

    Imagine.

    PG- Raymond Felton
    SG- Kobe Bryant
    SF- Lamar Odom
    PF- Carlos Boozer
    C- Stromile Swift

i think everything above is pretty correct EXCEPT that lamar odom remaining on the team, with all the critizism about lamar and kobe on the same team, the lakers gm is very quick to fold under this pressure and trade, so i think he's probably gonna end up dealing lamar

Well the rumor was that the Lakers pulled out of the trade because they heard he was going to have to be put in a walking cast, so they didn't want to lose Caron for nothing while they were in a dogfight for the playoffs, but they are now out of the playoffs basically. I think we will hear rumors about that trade in the offseason again, it is very possible.

I doubt Lamar would end up back there, the Heat really don't have equal value, but you never know with Mitch Kupcake

Well if that trade happens, Boozer can have 2 men game once again like he did with Bron. Just stand near the rim and catch them passes...
Oh I know it's almost impossible to have Lamar back and that's sad. He seemed to like it in Miami and fans liked him as well. One year was just too short to enjoy anything...

I really think we should trade Lamar for boozer staright up.

I ove the way Caron plays with Kobe but thats only if he works on his D.

I agree that even though lakers not going to make it to playoffs this year its for the better. They will improve themselfs for the long run to become serious contenders. Boozer for Lamar would be great!! I hope it goes down!

PS: I would take a bullet for Kobe [IMG]

    Man im having mixed feelings.

One is that i dont want people to get on Kobes case because he didnt make the playoffs.

The second is that i would like to get a good pick at the same time.

Now i know that we are going to be in the lottery. Its just that i dont want all that negativity to fall on Kobes shoulders. he gave his best did all he could and his teammates dodnt help out at all. Except for Jumaine Jones which i tihnk has been betetr than Caron this year.

It sucks as Laker fans we are in a very bad position right now.

Lets hope Kobe can get this ship back o ntrack and get us rolling again. I odnt want him to be another bust like A.I or Vince or T.Mac.

I have faith in Kobe and the Lakers. We all should.

Looking forward to the final 15 games and looking to have a little fun. So should all of you. Anyways guys im just trying to say believe in your team and get ready for a funfilled exciting seaso next year.

    GO LAKERS!!!!
