On ESPN after the game. Its the Finale and IMO the show isnt very good, but i watch it because of Bullard, he deserves the Job. So vote Dee off and get Matt that job. (can vote @ espn.com)
inconsequential if we learned anything from the first two dream jobs its that we will completely forget about these guys in 3 months when they arent on the air....
lol yup. Matt got smoked on the rapid fire round, Dee knew even the bonus question about where did Matt play internationally. It was obvious that the judges favored Dee throughout this whole stupid thing anyways, it would of been hard for Bull to pull it out because he doesnt yell uncontrollably like alot of the ESPN NBA guys and he doesnt bash teams for no reason or for a off night. Mabye he can come work for Fox Sports or sumtin and announce the Rockets games. The reason it may seem inconsequential is because they throw them on ESPNews, which is not on standard cable and only come on ESPN occasionally.
Dee was better than Matt, hands down. Matt doesn't strike me as being very knowledgable about the game. I think he has a decent voice for doing commentary, though. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Uhhh...I don't get ESPN in Canada, so could you give me a rundown of the show? I don't consider myself a bandwagoner now. Yeah, the Raptors have their fans, and every game is close to a sellout. They sure receive a lot more fan support than the Rockets attendance-wise. Most people I know aren't Raptors fans, though. The losing has got to a lot of people. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting chineseafro:</div><div class="quote_post">I thought you lived in Texas.</div>Nope. Closest to Houston I've been is South Carolina, and that isn't close at all.
Trip, don't worry if these Houston dwellers are alienating you lol. I'm from Sydney, Australia, so I'm a hell of a lot further away to the Rocket's motherland. Its funny how I became a Rockets supporter. I loved the team in NBA live 98. Their starting lineup was: Olajuwon, Barkley, Drexler, Elie, Maloney, And from there I did some research on Rockets during their championship years and just fell in lvoe with the franchise and have followed them ever since. Now if you want to talk about a REAL team, lets talk about the Sydney Kings who have just done a 3peat on the NBL ch'ship 2 weeks ago. Back on topic, I don't have ESPN either, but this announcer show seems lame just from the descriptions of what goes on. Good luck to Matt "The Bull" in the future.
Dee was better than Matt IMO. He always gave input, stats, etc. So does this mean he`ll be with the NBA Shootaround crew? I`m a little confused.
Everyone they had from the very beginning of the show was horrible. Dee was way better than Matt, that's for sure, but that's not saying much at all. Whoever said Matt should/could do Rocket commentary...you're just wrong lol. He has filled in for a handful of games and he puts me to sleep like no other. BOOOOOORING!
