<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah center Andrew Bogut will enter the NBA draft, forgoing his final two years of eligibility to possibly become the No. 1 choice.

"I have no regrets and full-speed ahead," the 7-footer from Australia said at a news conference Monday.

Bogut, the leading vote-getter on the AP All-America team, averaged 20.4 points and 12.2 rebounds while leading the Utes to a 29-6 season, which ended with a loss to Kentucky in the regional semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.

"My decision is about what is best for my basketball career," Bogut said.

    He's already hired an agent.</div>

He has already hired an agent meaning that there is no turning back now. Not a suprise though, it was just a matter of when he was going to do it.

If he wow people with individual workouts I wouldn't be surprised if he was the first pick.

We all knew that he would definitely declare, but do you all see him even being that effective on the next level?

When Kentucky played Utah just the other day, we put our two 7-footers in and out on him, and it definitely helped because he went only 8-18 in the game. And you all know that missing 10 shots is not good for a center.

I think he'll be good. Add in the fact that he did really well against TD in the olympics, I think this kid's good nuff to star in the league. He's good enough to play PF, imo.

I hope Lakers pull off a miraculous #2 pick in the lottery, because they BADLY need him.

I wonder if the winner of the draft lottery has the guts to go draft Bogut.

I think he can be around a 20/10/5 guy in his prime, hope Atlanta takes him.

I'd wonder if the winner of the lottery has the guts to NOT draft him. 1-Pretty much all the lottery teams can use a full size multi-skilled C who is a proven producer. 2- There is only one.

Bogut should be the #1 pick. His ability to pass should make any team that picks him transform their offence into the same style the kings use. He would work well on the hawks with Josh and Josh slashing to the basket. However, i am not sold that he would be a good match for the Hornets because it seems that they plan to build around magloir. So if the Hornets get the #1 pick i could see them not drafting him.

It will be awesome to finally see an Australian do well for a prolonged peroid of time. It has been too long since Luc Longley was around.
