WARNING - Not too in depth!!!

I was glad not only that the Nuggets lost....but that the Suns won. It gives us a better chance to face them in the first round. You gotta respect that ref for letting Karl speak his mind before ejecting him. Karl was so red that I thought they may need to call the paramedics. The Sun just kept blazin' in Arizona and dried up the Nuggets. Camby and Boykins are the tide-turners for their team in my estimation. Boykins is running between guys legs and you can't see him when picked off. Plus he's quick as hell. Camby is a very good shot-blocker. I also like Nene.

The Grizzlies also lost last night, so the TWolves are only 3 games back from catching them and 2 games from catching the Nuggets. These next 6 games is going to be a crucial stretch for these 3 teams.

    TWolves have - @Lakers, @Suns, @Kings, Jazz, Nuggets, @Hawks
    Nuggets have - @Jazz, Spurs, @Blazers, @Grizzlies, @Hornets, @TWolves
Grizzlies have - Sonics, @Bucks, Lakers, Nuggets, @Raptors, Heat

The TWolves have a chance to make ground during this stretch if they can win 3 out of 4 on the road, and hold homecourt. Denver will be on the road for 5 out of those 6 games. The TWolves are playing great with Cassell coming off the bench, and with 4 straight wins, the TWolves are peaking at the right time.

I think the West Coast trip makes or breaks the Wolves season.

Minnesota definitely has some tough games ahead of them. We're definitely capable of beating some of the teams that they soon will face, such as the Suns. As mentioned, this West Coast trip will either make or break us. We need a strong showing in this trip, or else, playoffs might be out of the question.

When the Wolves were in their best groove of the season, when they ended the Clippers 5 game winning streak, the Kings 10 game home winning streak, they also ended a Suns winning streak (forgot how many games the Suns won in a row tho..) earlier in the season like around December. Thats when everyone was thinking the Wolves were back on track compared to last year. But everything actually went south. Anyway, the only reason I bring that up is because this iis the first time since that major December winning streak that I think the Wolves are back to that point, so the last 2 games against the Suns wasnt competive at all. The last matchup the Wolves were down by 20 before the half was over. But this time I think the Wolves will be more like the Wolves team that brought it to the Suns in thier first meeting particalarly in the 4th quarter. Cassell was raining 30 footers and despite Amare probably getting the better of the overall matchup KG definately put in work that game in the 4th.

I Think the Wolves need to pull out 5 of the 6 games to stay in the race with Denver being a cant lose cause that is an automatic one game jump in the standings or drop depending on the outcome.

THe good news about the suns game coming up in a day is that tonight amare stoudemire has a LEFT ANKLE INFLAMMATIOn. and did not play tonight so maybe he wont play against us. And with the lakers they seem to be in a bit of trouble with kobe and chucky not being happy with each other. IT would be great if we can come out and send a message to the nuggets and grizzle that we are fighting for that play off spot!!! GO TWOLVES++++

Even though Amare has been out with an injury, have you seen the way Pheonix has played without him? They beat Denver and dismanteled the 76ers team. Yes, it's good news to see he's hurt, but they are still a very dangerous team. So winning that game is going to be just as tough without Amare playing. I think the 'Wolves can win. It's all up to the players, if they really want to win or not.

Good start to the West Coast trip with a win against LA tonight.

Big game tommorow night with the Suns. If they can beat the Suns, I can start believing.

Looking at the Wolves schedule tonight on TNT, it's going to be tough. I think it will come down to the very last game of the season. Unfortunately, that won't be easy since it's against the Spurs. The good news though it's a home game in the final game of the year. It can't be worse than playing at San Antonio. I am hoping it won't come down to it, but it will likely will.
