He has shown tremendous improvement in his ability to hit the mid range jumper, but he becomes really dangerous when he finds his way easily into the basket. Must play him physical and throw bodies on him. - No Open J's: The Heat are loaded with capable shooters who knock it down from the 3 as good, if not better than the Raptors. Must find Eddie, Damon, and Keyon in transition, otherwise, they'll make us payoff. - Only Diezel: We have proved previously that we can can win if we let the opposing team's superstar score his share and hold on to the supporting cast, as was the case 10 days ago when the Raps beat the Cavs despite 56 points from LeBron James. Shaq is going to get his, and there is no way we're stopping him, we just have to make it tough on him in the paint and cotain the others, including Wade. <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="7">.......</font></font> <font color="Red">Game Matchup:</font> vs Rafer Alston vs Damon Jones Those two are somewhat similar. Skip has to be aware of Jones' quick release and contest every jumper he fires up. He can't leave him and double down low on Shaq. Offensively, Rafer can take him off the dribble whenever he wants as he got the advantage there. Can't get into a shootout with Joens as he has done with many others. He must run the offence efficiently, and and don't force the issue. <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="7">.......</font></font> <font color="Green">The X-Factor:</font> Donyell Marshall If Donyell is healthy enough to play, he'll have a big impact on the outcome of this game. His abilility to hit the 3 Pointer will cause matchup problems for Van Gundy as who to put Shaq on, 'Yell or Chris. Marshall brings a much needed spark of the bench, and his effectiveness in this game will be a major indicator if the Raps can steal one in Miami. <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="7">.......</font></font> <font color="Red">Say What?! (Prediction)</font> The Heat only lost 2 games at home to Eatern Conference teams, the Pacers and the Raptors. However, after the lost to Charlotte on Sunday night, there is no way the Heat will look past this game, and they'll come in ready to prove that the Bobcats loss was nothing but a slight pump in the road. I'd be astonishingly shock if we can pull off this game. I hope I'm wrong. <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="7">.......</font></font> </div>
I was out playing ball, and I was just thinking, I hope Purple Fever makes a game thread, and here it is . Anyways, this will be a hard game, we're on the road against a team that hardly looses at hime, not too much hope for a win here. Miami 102 - Raptors 95. Bosh will continue his stretch of great games
Raps lose 103-91, we kept it close through the 3rd and most part of the 4th but they took over the game. Very intense game or atleast in the 4th, mo pete and wade got into a little scuffle and sam mitchell got ejected for the first time in his coaching career. Anyways i could care less about the losses now, i kinda want us to lose most of our games down the stretch so our draft stock goes higher.
I like Mitchell standing up for his players. It shows how much he cares for his team and how deep his feelings are for all his players. Mo Pete and Jalen Rose both committed some stupid fouls/mistakes, but Mitchell made an effort to try and influence the refs.
Mitchell did a great job standing up for Rose and Peterson even tho they were bad fouls but I like that he cares about his players and Raps lost.
Anyone see Jalen and some Raps laughing after Mitchell got ejected? I didn't see that part cuz I was busy doin my work and watching TV, but I heard that happened. What did Mo' say to Wade? Something saying that he'll knock him out or whatever, and the Shaq comes in and says "No you won't"...I couldn't stop laughing. Anyways we could of taken Shaq though as a team, Hoffa, Pape and Woods would take the diesel down. ...I wonder if Mo' could take Wade. I doubt it, but we be interesting. As for the game itself it was competitive, but we're defensively so that's why we lost this game and 95% of our other games.
It was funny to see Rafer calming Sam Mitchell down..I wasn't laughing yet until I saw that.. It's also weird to see Mo getting pissed and flipping out..I've never seen him do that in a game before. CB4 was great although he went cold in the 4th, but maybe because the coach finally woke up and made SHaq guard him..in the past few days, Chris has been getting tons of praise from other coaches: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I think he bothered Bosh a great deal," Miami coach Stan Van Gundy said of O'Neal. "I think he did a really good job on a very good player, a very quick player who has been on a heck of a roll."</div> Link <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">And the tone was set early by Bosh, who was a constant force against the Hawks' inside players. "He made it a point that he was going to come out and score," Woodson said. "And he's a load. He's a solid (power forward) in this league and if he stays healthy, he's going to be a player in this league for a long time."</div> Link And some other stuff..too lazy to post though
I've rarely watched Raptor games since Vince got traded, but I should have watched this game considering I had free time. I saw a brief highlight of Mo Pete and Wade going face to face. Wow, Peterson would merk Wade big time .

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting WadeDynasty:</div><div class="quote_post">LOL Wade owned MO Pete on the court tho</div>No he didn't... I'm joking. Of course he did, but all I'm saying is that Wade can't merk Mo Pete on the streets.
Is it just me, or does anyone else here think that MoPete with cornrows and no goatee looked like Lil' Romeo? He also looked like Marion Jones at that time but everyone was already making fun of him because of that back then...... So I don't know I'd be too scared of a Lil Romeo/Marion Jones look-a-like if I saw him on the street lol.... but then again, his height would be a concern...
