EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. ? Vince Carter flies again.

It really is the one they called Half Man, Half Amazing before he turned into Half of What He Had Been.

Regarded as the next great player when he took over the All-Star dunk show in 2000, Carter's scoring average dropped from a high of 27 to 15.9 this season before the Toronto Raptors gave up and traded him.</div></div>

Good story on VC. Even though NJ`s playoff hopes are almost over, I think next season the Nets will rise again to an elite team in the East. You got players such as Kidd, Carter, Jefferson, Kristic and a just well rounded team in the Nets. I think the 05-06 season can be Vince Carter`s real new beginning.

I must say sorry to American Poet, because we will get into Playoffs and push out sixers from 8th spot...now we are 34-38 just only a little 4-winning streak can get 0.500

    That'll probably happen next season.

Actually, they are most likely going to make it. Sixers and Pacers are sliding.
