i didn't see any other game threads so i decided to make one. forgive me if there already is one. anyways, they better protect the 3-point line better tonight with Q and marion if they want any chance of beating phoenix. probably will be another high scoring game.

Man, Philly has a chance at getting this game only and only if Webber can keep Marion off the offensive glass and outrebound him or even come close to it. I'd personally put Iggy on Matrix.

I like the fact that AI is going to be guarded by Nash, he should have his way in this matchup but he can't afford to get caught on screens on defence.

Philly have more than a decent chance to grab the victory.

hmm...this game is a real nail-biter. just when you think the sixers are starting to come together, they fall apart again. tough team, but they don't even have amare and they're still getting whooped. oh well.

Blowout, but Webber left the game with a tweaked knee in the 2nd quarter. Then came back in the third quarter and pulled his shoulder out of place.

I thought we had a chance when I learned that Amare was out, but I guess I was wrong. Shawn Marion is a freak, and I mean that in the best possible way for all of you Suns' fans out there. The Sixers had no one on the roster that could stop him.

Another thing... Some may say that Steve Nash is just a 'good PG surrounded by good players', but the intelligent basketball fans know how much he contributes. It goes beyond stats. Why is it that everyone got so much better when he arrived? Why is it that Stephon Marbury barely got them into the playoffs with a similar squad? Nash is getting the job done down in Arizona.

Also, again, same old same regarding the perimeter defense. O'Brien seems as stubborn as they come... It took him about 3/4 of the season to change to an acceptable game plan... In my view, he should be fired after the season simply for... Well... Not getting a good feel of his players abilities and refusal to change after constant losing. :-/
