Why doesn't he convert to WR or KR/PR? He must realize by now that he's NEVER going to be a starting NFL quarterback again. Don't you think it's time for him to swallow his pride and start helping a team win as something other than "bench warmer?" I do... I wonder why he doesn't?
I think he should, Iv'e really liked Kordell in the past I think he is pretty cool, I like his speed and agillity, he has a good arm but just isn't fit for a pro QB, Is a he a FA still?
Even Eric Crouch accepted (finally) that he had a shot in this league as a safety. The Chiefs have him allocated to NFL Europe. Last time I checked, he was doing pretty well. Kordell definately needs to face reality too.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Is a he a FA still?</div> He signed a one year deal with the Ravens last year. I think they plan to keep him this year, too. The great irony is, of course, that if he could make it ANYWHERE as a receiver, it would be with the Ravens.
One of my first highschool football games i watched was when Kordell played for John Ehret against East St. John. I was about 7 or 8 (1989) and all i can remember was my dad and his friends saying it was one of the best highschool games they've ever seen. Kordell is an amazing all around athlete and always was a threat to any team he played. As for the NFL though, i think he should of played WR/KR. His hands weren't the best, but he could run a route like non other. I think he still has 3-4 years left in him if he converts to WR/KR, but as QB he hasn't been on my list of average QB's in years. All do respect he still is a prime example of an Louisiana athlete. Even though i hate John Ehret.
