Portis is saying that since Ohalete was cut by the 'Skins, he would have gotten the number without paying, so he's renegging on the contract. Eh...sorry, but it's time to break out the checkbook. A judge is going to rule in favor of the contract. I hope Portis has to cough up court costs, too, just for being a big baby about this. What's $20,000 to him at this point? The court hassle has to be worth more...

He was #10 when Eli came but then sold it to him for a paid family vacation to Disney. THen he switched to #17 and when Burress came this year he sold it for a new kitchen. How sweet is that?!? I agree with you about Portis though there was no void in the contract and seriously another 20K to Portis is like pocket change he makes idk how much 5-10 Mill a year. Just pay up stop being a baby.
I was right... Portis just paid up the $18,000. I remember when Reggie White joined the Packers. He gave John Jurkovic quite a present to get his jersey. I'm trying to remember if it was a car or a Rolex. Whatever it was, it was quite the gesture.
