<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A season of disappointment continued for Northwestern Wednesday as junior point guard T.J. Parker announced he will enter the NBA draft.

"I just didn't feel like coming back and playing college basketball," Parker said. "I just wanted to play professionally."
The 6-foot Lisle High School graduate had an inconsistent 2004-05 season. He had emerged as a scoring threat by midseason, but he wasn't in the starting lineup for the Wildcats' first-round game in the Big Ten tournament.

Parker, whose brother Tony is a starting guard for the San Antonio Spurs, started 29 of 30 games this season and averaged 9.7 points per game. In his three seasons at Northwestern, Parker averaged 10 points and 2.8 assists per game.

Parker said he is prepared to play in Europe, where his father, Tony Parker Sr., had a long career after starring at Loyola. He will, however, attend a number of NBA tryout camps. He has not signed with an agent but said he expects to hire Marc Fleisher, the agent who represents his brother.</div> Source
