The Miami Heat just lost its 12th consecutive game against the Indiana Pacers! This is the 3rd game against the Pacers this season. All 3 have gone into Overtime & the Heat has lost All 3. Indiana is the only team in the NBA to beat the Heat 3 times this season. To make things worse, Indiana won tonight WITHOUT Jermaine O'neil, Ron Artest, and Jamaal Tinsley!!! How concerned should the Heat be if they face Indiana in the First Round of the Playoffs? They seem to have the Heat's number. I still take the Heat in a seven game series but DAMN this is frustrating. LINK http://www.nba.com/games/20050331/MIAIND/recap.html
YEah i Know I'd call it jinx cuz I can't understand why we lose to the Pacers otherwise. Thankfully, we face Philly and I don't think that would be much problem.
I was just coming on here to make a "should we be concerned" thread and you beat me to it. We lose in a heartbreaker to the Bobcats, then just two games later we lose to an extremely weak Pacers team. Wade is really worn out, Stan should just give him the next two games off to let him rest up for the playoffs because he's really getting beat up out there. I'm afraid that he's given everything he had during the regular season and will have nothing left for the playoffs. Shaq and Wade have both missed only 4 games each this entire season. Shaq is used to getting 15-20+ games off every year, he needs a rest. We already have the #1 seed and home court throughout the entire eastern conference locked up, it's time to give Shaq and Wade a well deserved rest.
pacers have the heat's number so far this season even without our top 3 players (JO, artest and tinsley). but like what damon jones quoted after the game, this is just the regular season and yeah this game was very frustrating but come playoffs, it will be a different story. i hope the pacers won't face them in the first round if ever the pacers advance in the postseason
The Heat need to finish the season strong. They are still fighting for the overall #1 seed with Phoenix and San Antonio. The Spurs are not a very good road team this year, so if those two meet in the Finals, the Heat would have a big edge with homecourt advantage. It's always good to head into the playoffs with momentum as well. The Heat should get plenty of rest after they sweep their 1st round opponent. The Magic are in the best position to get the 8th seed with Webber injured. The Nets also have a chance to sneak in, and even though they get Richard Jefferson back for the playoffs, they don't have the size to contend with Shaq.
The heat will have home court advantage n thats where they are finishing strong with that winning streak they got going we can beat the pacers if u seen all 3 games against them u see that we went into OT for not getting a rebound. Im new to this how would i request a sig?

Quoting Silky Smooth:

All I have to say is, Reggie still has it!
Reggie should play till he's 50 years old. Play him in the last 2 minutes of regulation & Overtime only. It really is amazing. If you could only teach players how to be clutch... Players will be watching film of Reggie Miller for decades to come. The master of moving without the ball.
Reggie is really going to be missed, the NBA season just won't be the same. Nevermind just the playoffs. The sad thing is he can still play at such a high level and could play for at least 2 or 3 more seasons. No guy who can still put up 30 point games like he has this year should think about retirement.
