Has anyone noticed we have tied our season's longest win streak at 4 games? Has anyone noticed we have not had a losing streak of longer than 2 games since aquiring Baron Davis? Has anyone noticed we are 16-7 since the Feb 16th? I can't wait for next year. Of course we say that every year. That should be our forum catch phrase instead of "the place where players leave and become All Stars" or whatever it is...
16-7?! Really? That doesn't seem right to me. Too good to be true, but thats amazing. I can't wait till next season either. I may get League pass so i can watch EDIT: I just checked the Warriors website and its 12-7, which is really good also.
I really like where this team is going, and this team really reminds me of Dallas right before they became an elite team. Being a basketball fan, I always wait for next season, no matter what, but I am really really waiting for next season ...

I guess I can't count either. Hehehe. 13 it is. At least thats straightend out now. I am praying that the Basketball gods will not screw this team up next year like usual.
I was thinking that maybe there shouldn't be movement on this team this offseason. Just don't add on any dead weight and don't trade Dunleavy (and don't give him a new contract) and Fisher. Foyle yes if it doesn't lose us talent already on this team. Other than that, just add talent through the draft or free agency (if possible). Lets keep this team intact since its gelling well and let it continue on through the offseason. I think that has been the problem the last 2 years.
Warriorsfansnc93, the name of this thread is kind of hilarious But it's a good observation that we're kicking this much butt going 13 and 7 . If we can improve our starting 5 defense, keep/improve our depth and maintain fluid ball movement and scoring, we'll be winning a lot of games. I can see us being the best team in Cali next season since we've got one of the more elite franchise players in the league. I hope he stays healthy and won't be injured as much as Speedy Claxton.

Larry Bird is pretty reluctant to trade him, but he's been injured all season. Personally, I wouldn't be that sad if we gave up Dunleavy for him. Bender does and still holds the record for most points scored in the McDonald's All America game and was the MVP and he's still young and has the chance to break out. That's probably why Bird didn't want to give him up.
I've thought about Bender,or Curtis Borchardt, both still have possible futures if they stay helthy long enough to get experiance. I'd be reluctant to give Dunleavy straight up for either unless they show some more progress,or we got something in addition. Bender needed to get stronger, and I don't know if he plays much D. Borchardt does play D,did play for Monty, but I'm concerned about injury issues. There are at least reasons to believe they could turn into something, even if there is risk they won't

But this player gets probably the most calls in the league and was a player that Chris Mullin wanted all along. That's probably why he's got the Zarko/Skita/7 footer small forward fetish thing going on. He wants that Dirk type player if we can't get a downlow presence that's comparable to Shareef or Elton Brand.

If the Pacers still have their rd 1,late in the round,a Dunleavy-White-rd2 package might get us Bender and that late #1. I want Salim S if we could get him at that part of the draft. Even if he is not a born point G,he is a born shooter,is real quick,is a very competitive type who will not be a slacker. Mully would,I am presuming,do some research. He would need to feel Bender's injurys were probably behind him,and that Bender has some commitment to improving his game. The idea is quite interesting.

I like how he plays smart and is ferocious on the boards. He's got a lot of all around skill and some great footwork inside and shooting touch. Elton Brand is unquestionably among the best defenders at power forward in the league so I'm wondering how Diogu could play in the league. Is he really long? He looked like a good shotblocker so he could make up for his height some with his bulk and length like Elton Brand.
You could check his stats, while Ike is not a top 10 shotblocker,he did have impressive blocks for a F. While he is no Pietrus,he has nice quickness and plays with energy and passion. Despite getting screwed on a couple of foul calls, that made him have to be very careful,he carried ASU to a regulation period draw with Arizona. Arizona ultimately won on a Stoudamire 3 but if Diogu didn't have to deal with foul pressure,he'd have likely won it before OT. I was real impressed. I think he is at least as quick as Brand I think he could play SF,he's that mobile. What's sweet is it looks like he will be underated enough to be available to the W's. Some mocks have him way too low

I know he probably would like to play it hardball so as to not damage our current lineup. If he were able to throw in Rodney White and try to advance in the draft, that would be sweet.
