Antoine Walker sat out todays game and could miss up to the next week with a bruised knee. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BOSTON -- Boston Celtics forward Antoine Walker missed Sunday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers because of a deep bruise in his left knee, and coach Doc Rivers said the star forward might be out all week.</div> link to the story
Well, I guess it responded well to treatment before the Wizards game and Walker may be back for Saturday against the Nets. Personally, I wait and see how the team plays against the Bucks tonight to make a decision. If they win, then no need to rush Walker back and make sure he's healthy for the playoffs. If they lose, however, I would be more inclined to rush him back, because the confidence of this team is wavering.
Walker's in jury is a concern for the C's.. It is intresting to see how important he is to this team.. But I agree with CetlsMan that seeing how they won against the Bucks there is no need to rush Walker back, don't take the risk of him further hurting himself only to sit out during the playoffs!!! New Jersey has always played good games against the Celts this year, but I tink Perk is doing a fine job of taking Walkers place, powering his way to get rebounds! I LOVE THAT KID!
Well lets hope he will be 100% for the playoffs becouse look what he did with the celtics ever since he came back if he will be 100% they will be trouble for other teams
