<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Pistons president Joe Dumars got the word Friday that he will not be among the inductees into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Monday.

He confirmed the news, but did not want to make further comment until the final announcement was made by the Hall of Fame committee on Monday.

Thus far, nominees Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun and Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim have confirmed that they were selected. Former Atlanta Hawks great Dominique Wilkins said he was not elected. </div> Source

What the hell? If Wilkins and Dumars weren't elected, who the hell was?

I wouldn't take the other guys (Maurice Cheeks, Adrian Dantley Dennis Johnson, Bernard King, Chet Walker and Hubie Brown) over those two. That seems pretty stupid but I'm sure both will get in next year.

Erm bit random that, Dumars did so much in his time. He was a hard player and deserves a reward like that.
