Lebron James is AMAZING! Just about averaging 27 PPG, 7 RPG, 7 APG. Simply amazing. What's next season? 30 PPG, 8 RPG, 8 APG? The guy is incredible, although as impressive as his game has been, I still want to see him get his team into the playoffs. You've seen the guy do EVERYTHING he's capable of in the past few weeks to get this team back on track, it's unfortunate his team has not responded. My opinion, blow everything up except for Lebron James, and Anderson Varejao. Here's my suggestions... Payroll next year, 26 Million, roughly 20 Million under the salary cap. Don't resign McInnis, he's play has been more than disappointing this season. Sign Big Z, than work from their via sign and trades and free agency... Trade For Shareef Abdur-Rahim New Power Foward for Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He's been around, understand's the league, and will respect his role alongside such a great player. A solid 20 & 10 bigmen when receiving quality minutes, his game has been kept secret because of the lackluster teams he's performed on. So Trade Zydrunas along with a 1st Round Draft Pick for Shareef, 2nd Round Selection, & Darius Miles who has had major problems in Portland. Trade For Kareem Rush Great Long Range shooter, team could use him. Should be a cheap player to aquire, preferable for the bench though. My Suggestion, move Jiri Welsch & Robert Traylor for Kareem Rush & Brevin Knight. Trade for Stromile Swift He'll become your new center. He'll block shots and finish around the bucket. I'd like to see some more agility out of Cleveland's center role, someone to run with Lebron. Darius Miles and a 1st Round Selection. Sign Ray Allen or Michael Redd. Add that second scoring threat to play alonside Lebron's 30 a night. Watch the improvement on this team. Given the cap situation, this team will likely have 10-12 Million to throw at either of these guys, that and the chance to play with the future of this league should be enough to land one of the two. Trade for Kirk Hinrich How? Why? Just Accept this trade for Eric Snow, Luke Jackson, and Drew Gooden for Kirk Hinrich and Antonio Davis. This will get Chicago a good veteran player who's been to an NBA FINALS before, Eric Snow. Than they could move 6th Man of The Year/Rookie of The Year BEN GORDON to the starting point guard postion where he could possibly increase his already impressive production. Luke Jackson will provide a nice shooting threat from 2 Guard and Drew Gooden could possibly start allowing Chandler's energy to come from the bench. Who knows... NEW CAVALIERS ROSTER: PG: Kirk Hinrich (Brevin Knight) SG: Michael Redd or Ray Allen (Lucious Harris) SF: Lebron James (Kareem Rush) PF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim (Antonio Davis) C: Stromile Swift (Anderson Varejao) Reserves: Ira Newble & Dajuan Wagner Just some of my thoughts of possible transaction. Should be a huge SUMMER for The Cleveland Franchise, especially under the new ownership. Expect alot of drastic moves, and hopefully ALOT of HELP for KING JAMES!!! Playoffs here we come!!!
Every scenario made sense until the Hinrich part... there's no way the Bulls are breaking up their core now they're headed to the playoffs. Eric Snow may have gone to the Finals but his game has been washed up, and Drew Gooden will be buried behind Antonio Davis (more consistent) and Tyson Chandler (better defense). Even a first round playoff exit would still be considered a success considering they were 0-9 to start the season.
In no way will the Cavs be able to get Kirk Hinrich. I'm a huge T'Wolve fan and I dreamt about us getting Kirk. But I came to reality and told myself it will never happen. Hinrich is the future of that team. I don't think the Bulls would be willing to trade away Hinrich. He has done so much for that team, in so little time, so the Bulls trading him away would make no sense.
Well, it's a fantasy kind of scenario, but it is very well thought out. But I am a bug fan of Z, and don't see why we would have to get rid o the guy when he is having his best season, and making an impact on the defensive end. As true centers go, he's top 5, and I think they need to keep that.

And getting Hinrich? Way too far on the fantasy side. If this comes out true I'm going to call you [that one lady that predicts your future with those "Tora" cards] Well-thought out though.

He's getting 14 Million this season, no Center in the league deserves that with the exception of Shaquille O'Neal. Z doesn't bring defense to the table, he isn't a great rebounder, he doesn't block shots, he can only impact a game when he scores 20-30 points. I think this team would be far better off with a Center who can do a little bit of everything and costs alot less, leaving room to aquire help in areas it's needed most. Kirk Hinrich was just a suggestion. Who knows though, the way Ben Gordon is playing I don't think it will be long before he starts demanding he starts.
kirk hinrich isnt even that great of a player...i mean sure he fits in at chicago but i highly doubt he would fit in with clevelands "run the court" style of transition play. Also i highly doubt that the cavaliers would even be able to acquire him. in addition their current point gaurd jeff mcinnis isnt that bad, hes perfectly fine at the spot that hes at right now.
Big Z is in the top ten in blocks and is having his best defensive year to date. As for what Z is asking for, he only wants to not make less than he makes now, and only wants about a 3 year contract. He's not a greedy man, he likes it here, and mark my words, he ain't going anywhere!

That's simply absurd, no matter how you look at it, regardless if he's having his best defensive season or not. The guy isn't Shaquille O'Neal, he's only averaging 17 Points and 8 Rebounds a game, he's an allstar by default, it's that simple. Honestly, If you truly believe Cleveland will throw around that kind of money for that kind of production, Than Hell Carlos Boozer would still be hear making Kobe Bryant Type Dollars.
