Jeez, Davis and J-rich arent in and they made it a 12 point lead now. Impressive. I'm begininig to think my second half prediction may come true. I predicted them to win 38-45. But they need to win all thier games.

The Rockets should really give the ball to Yao. He's 7 for 11. Foyle cannot guard Yao.

When Yao plays like that nobody can guard him, all he needs is to get deep in the paint and it's over. The hype is for reals sometimes, he is pretty dominant when he plays aggressive. Baron Davis has a new career high of 40 points. I wonder if he can tie Jrich's career high since there is still time left.

I hope Tmac doesnt pull off that 11 points in 1 minute thing again.
Warriors up only 6 now. They should win the game, buts it a little closer than I want at this point.

From among the 5 worst to among the 5 best? Amazing. Now that they proved themselves its about time to dump a few games to keep draft position......nah,lets kick some butts!

Another awesome win for the Warriors. Warriors are hot. Probably the 2nd hottest team (to Denver) now that the Bulls have fallen off after today.
Fisher is really producing off the bench in this win streak, earning his money. Congrats to BDiddy on his career high! Surprised he never scored 40 before.

122 points is pretty awesome against the Rockets... They rarely let anybody get over 99. We controlled the tempo.

Winner of 15 out of 22, 9 out of 10 or 6 straight. Pick your favorite...

Are you sure we got Davis for two expiring contract? I mean, didn't we all miss the news that we gave up 100 first rounders or something? Davis must wore out his welcome big time in there. Hope that doesn't happen with us anytime soon.

Carter or Davis? Who was better 'bargain bin' pick up?

Rockets allow less than 91 pts. We dropped 122.

Grant that T Mac was absolutely on today, but Yao should have gotten more than 12 shot attempts, especially when he went 8-12 despite our players swarmed him like crazy.

I thought Richardson couldn't do alley hoop in game for all this time. It turned out that nobody was able to pass to him.

    Kwan, you ain't dreaming [IMG]

    Here's the recap

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">

    </font></font>
    On Baron Davis:
"He?s just in a way continues to amaze. He just exudes confidence and the team feeds off that. He feels like he can do anything and he?s backing it up. Historically his free throw shooting has been very good, he?s been nails from the line. The guys seems to be enjoying playing with him and it?s really taken some pressure off Jason Richardson. Overall he?s just been very helpful." On Bobby Sura running into Montgomery:
"I guess they (officials) thought he ran into me intentionally. I really couldn?t figure out what happened. I thought the officials called the technical on me because I was on the floor. I knew Sura was mad so it was just leading up to that."

On what Baron Davis has meant to the city of Oakland:
"They enjoy watching him play. He certainly has showmanship in him. I think there is more of an excitement of winning games. He?s got several years to go and can get a whole lot better."

    <font face="Arial"><font size="2">Mike Dunleavy</font></font>
    On next season:
"I think for the most part everyone?s under contract and going to be here next year. So we?re trying to get used to each other and once we get a training camp under our belts we?ll be ready for next year, but right now we?re just having fun with it." On winning lately:
"Every time we go out on the court we think we?re going to win and that?s the main difference. Everyone has put their personal things aside and goes out there and does what?s best for the team and it?s just a nice atmosphere right now."

    <font face="Arial"><font size="2">Baron Davis</font></font>
    On being a Warrior:
"Here at Golden State they?re allowing me to play the best basketball I can possibly play. I can?t explain how happy I am to be playing basketball. For a while I was down and out about basketball. I?m glad to be here. It?s like a fresh start, like a rebirth. I?m glad to be playing again. I lost my love for the game because all of the outside stuff. It?s a great feeling." On the win streak:
"It gives us confidence. The life of this team is the confidence and just knowing that we can win. This winning streak is at the end of the season and teams are battling for playoff spots so it?s not like we?re getting teams at their worst, we?re getting them as they prepare for the playoffs. "

    <font face="Arial"><font size="2">Derek Fisher</font></font>
    On Baron Davis:
"When you add a guy with his abilities to any team it makes you better. And he?s showing all the ways that he can make us better by scoring the ball a lot of nights, making plays for other people; defensively he?s active. He just does a lot of things to help the team. Everyone?s feeding off of him, but I think he?s enjoying playing with us too. I think in all professional sports, team sports, your best players really make everyone else around them better. They enhance what other guys can do. Baron has the ability to do that and still find ways to be extremely effective himself. That?s what good players do."</div> http://www.nba.com/warriors/news/recap_040505.html

I wonder what Dunleavy meant by "personal things aside". Any drama in the locker room? Also Bdiddy sounds like he must have been miserable playing for coach Byron Scott. That's two allstar guards he's pissed off so far. No wonder Scott wanted Claxton since JKidd and Bdiddy are too vocal.

</div> Our guy of course. It involved no draft picks whatsoever. Just one player for dumping two of ours. Bdiddy's got the most impact on a franchise since the job of running offense is his and he's got the ball in his hands the most and he makes others better. Plus he's better defensively. Carter isn't really that great of a franchise player because his job is primarily to score the ball and he doesn't play much defense because of lack of motivation. He's definitely exciting though.

</div> Yeah, they tried to play our game in the open court. But with a guy that huge and worn out and Mutombo not that much better in the open court, we controlled the tempo. It was awesome

I think everyone can officially stop talking about who to trade, and who to keep. Let's bring the team back just as they are. If problems develop next season, Mully can slightly tweak the roster before the trade deadline

I read the "personal things aside" as a reference to players not being concerned about individual stats, rather focusing on the end result winning. No one as yet seems to care about their touches and shots or who is the key player on any given night.

I agree with CohanHater about keeping the roster intact. Just don't give Dunleavy a new deal or anyone else. Keep everything as is and add through the draft.

As for the Dunleavy comment I took that as a good thing that everyone is doing their job and not focusing on individual stuff. That's how surprise teams like the Sonics, etc. play good basketball and win games. They go out there and get their job done for the W and not the stats. Everyone seems to be doing that right now. Fisher isn't trying to be MJ anymore and his shot selection and FG% has improved because he is playing his game. Other examples could be used, but Fisher stands out the most to me on his adjustment.

Good giving out respect to the losers and giving your own team credit. [IMG] Nice sig btw, very innovative.

Good game the Warriors played last night, you guys simply attacked the basket with fervor and overcame a good offensive performance on the Rockets' own part.

Got back from the game and my voice is totally shot. It was awesome, I still can't believe we have Baron Davis. Before the game me and my boys walked near the court and watched the players warm up. Yao is freakin huge & the NBA 3pt line was not as far back as I thought it would be.

With this team alone we could sneak into the playoffs. If we get a post presence and Murphy works on his inside game, I think we'l be better than Dallas and get the 4th seed. Besides the churro guy blocking my view for 5 minutes, the game was awesome.

How huge is huge? Heh, does he redefine the meaning of the "Great Wall of China"? Also, do you think he still plays soft?

Oh yeah that could be it. Also playing time, since on some nights Pietrus, Zarko, Dunleavy may have fluctuating minutes.

<font size="2">Davis shows way for hot Warriors</font> <font size="2"> By Marcus Thompson II, CONTRA COSTA TIMES
</font> <font size="2"> OAKLAND - Four of the NBA's brightest talents did battle at the Arena on Tuesday night.</font>

The two most prolific were both at the top of their game.

Warriors point guard Baron Davis had a career-high 40 points to go with 13 assists and five steals. Houston Rockets swingman Tracy McGrady had a game-high 44 points and seven assists.

The sidekick for each player also had productive nights, with Warriors shooting guard Jason Richardson getting 20 points and Houston center Yao Ming finishing with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

But this game was decided by the supporting casts, and the Warriors' was better.

They helped push the Warriors' winning streak to six games with a 122-1117 victory over the playoff-bound Rockets, who are currently holding the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference.

"Those guys make everything so easy for me," said Davis, who was 11-for-20 from the field and 15-for-16 from the foul line. "To play with a group of guys like this is a dream come true. There's just so many guys on this team who can stretch the defense, and I love to penetrate."

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=knig...night&type=lgns
</div> "To play with a group of guys like this is a dream come true." - Baron Davis

"As long as nobody gets locked up this summer or do anything crazy," Murphy said. "We'll be just fine next year." - Troy Murphy

"I'm with Troy, We need to do like Dr. Evil and freeze ourselves." - Jason Richardson

CH and BdiddyJrich are thinking exactly what Murph and Baron Davis are thinking. Don't change this roster! It actually clicks and everyone enjoys playing together. Maybe this will motiviate our guys to play some defense since Baron Davis openly adressed our lack of defense at times.
