Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and assistant general manager Ronnie Lester are in Memphis scouting players.

They are attending the USA Basketball Junior National Select Team (ages 17-19) vs. the World Select Team from Europe and Australia in the Nike Hoop Summit.

Kupchak and Lester watched practice Tuesday and will return for the game on Saturday.

They will leave today for the Portsmouth (Va.) Invitational Tournament to scout college players.

The Lakers are hoping to find a quality big man or a point guard. </div> Source

Am I the only one who doesn't feel comfortable with Kupcake running this draft?
