<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The problem the Cavaliers don't want to address isn't their lack of depth, although "Shallow Hal," the guy from the movie of that name, had more than Jim Paxson's roster. For the Cavs' general manager to say the roster is deep is the same kind of irony you find when a big man is called "Tiny."

The problem that isn't discussed much is LeBron James' defense. It is not merely the chink in James' armor. On this Cavs' team, as a whole, defense often is the Emperor's (or the King's) new clothes. </div> Source

    defense

LBJ gets too much guff for his defense, though he isnt amazing he is still a above average defender. Remember all the great players developed defense later, Kobe, MJ and so on. I fell his defense will come along with time

Defense is just going to come with experience when you are in the NBA. I mean, there's a big difference between high school opponents and professionals. So you have to adjust on defense. LeBron is just going to get better the more seasons he plays.

Eventually, he's going to be an all-around player like His Airness. MJ led the league in just about everything. He made the Defensive Team one year, led the league in scoring, assists, and well... everything! [But that is a different story...] Soon LeBron will get there. Not to say his defense is bad, it just doesn't quite match his offense yet.
