The Timberwolves were in the middle of a 19-0 run that virtually ended the game just minutes after it started when Sloan picked up a technical foul for arguing at the 6:13 mark.

The deficit was 20-4 when Sloan was ejected with 4:44 left by referee Ken Mauer. Upon leaving, he let loose with a series of expletives toward the referee. </div>

Jerry Sloan is an emotional coach. With the way the Jazz are playing now, it had to happen sometime.

    BTW, great sig [IMG]

I watched the replay of the game on ESPN. I don't blame Jerry for wanting to leave the gym. His team did everything wrong on the court. The Jazz only managed 8 points in the 1stQ, and allowed Minny and Kandi man to score 31 points in the 1stQ. The effort just wasn't there early in the game. It's been a rough season, I think Jerry aged 10 more years having to deal with the injuries, the losing, and the inconsistency of his team. The Jazz do have a lot to look forward to next year. If they can stay healthy they have the talent to be a playoff team in the west. Getting a lottery pick should help, and re-signing Raja Bell should be a priority. I thought Kirk Snyder and Kris Humphries played well last night.
