Where is Scott Layden these days?</div> I love how when everyone else is feeling bad about how terrible their franchise is doing they just make fun of my knicks. You can do that all you want but its not gonna make your team better
I think that trade is made up. Thats my statement, the Odom for Peja sounded way more realistic seeing how Peja is asking to be traded
First priority is head coach. After that find and sign a Kidd-Nash like character as well. Then get a Center to compliment Mihm if Divac does not come back. I hope he does, his experience and passings skills could help shape the Lakers younger players. I hope we can get someone through free agency and without having to trade Odom. *Oh yeah, definately need to work on defense. Almost wish we didn't get rid of Lue and Rush.
I would keep Butler. The guy is on a roll now, I think this will carry into next season. Let go of Odom, and try to deal for a PF. We need size!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Tempted 2 Touch:</div><div class="quote_post">After the Lakers lost to the suns and got eliminated from playoff contention, Lakers general mitch kuptchak has reportedly told lakers owner Jerry Buss that he has talked to the INDIANA PACERS about trading (PF) Jermaine O'neal, (SF) Ron Artest for LAKERS (F) Lamar Odom, (PF) Brian Grant and (SF) Luke Walton. When asked how is it possible to trade luke walton when he is a free agent, he said we will resign him and trade him. Luke Walton has reportedly told the Los Angeles Lakers he will not sign with them. Also, the lakers will trade everyones favorite (PG) Chuky Atkins and Stanislav Madvadenko to the Boston Celtics for (PG) Marcus Banks and two future first round draft picks. However the Indiana Pacers have responded by saying that if they dont do any damage in the playoffs, they will look to rebuild now that the legendary Reggie Miller has retired and Ron Artest causing too much comotion and Jermaine O'Neal is having a surgery in the summer. They said they were more than happy to accept the offer.</div> just becuase you sound technical, doesnt mean we are all dumb and will believe these fake trades
Exactly. Why would Indiana rebuild? They STILL have Jermaine O'Neal, The Best Power Foward in The Eastern Conference. They STILL have Ron Artest, The Best Defensive Guard or Foward. They STILL Have Stephen Jackson who is averaging 18 Points Per Game this season, who they didn't have when they challenge for a finals berth just a year ago. Indiana is still a pretty deep team and certainly can't be counted out of the championship race just based solely upon the loss of Reggie Miller. Just a few struggles this season, The Brawl, The Suspensions, Tinsley's Injury, Jermaine's Injury, and so fourth. They'll be back next season, and they'll have a nice first round draft selection to improve their team in the summer. Stop the nonsense!
