There's a way I think you can hook your VCR to your computer, you just need the TV input/output card + the software to feed it into your computer.

Here's a game recap. Man I still can't believe Jrich, Dunleavy, Pietrus all scored 28 points each. Damn!

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">[IMG] <font face="Arial"><font size="2">Mike Montgomery</font></font>
?Dunleavy's shot...kind of the nail at the end. He hits the two threes in a row. That's what people have been doing to us and now we jump up and hit some really nice inside/outside threes with the game on the line. That's what is pleasing." "Stoudemire, he's something. But Adonal was not backing off trying to block shots and 17 boards. It was a pretty high level game. It was people playing out there and we hung in there with them."

    On playing playoff caliber basketball:
"We're going to see teams playing playoff caliber basketball because they have to and they're trying to keep themselves ready."

"It's just trying to keep building, trying to learn, make the adjustments, they're so much more receptive to the things that are going on out there. on staying focused at the end of the game: We've got a lot of people that are capable and a lot of people that believes in themselves right now and if each guy does their job, it's not like any one guy has to carry the load."

"Certainly Baron's been important in terms of making decisions out there and having the ball and that's taken the pressure off everyone else, but guys are growing up a little bit in terms of their ability to play at a pretty high level.

If they'd won earlier in the season as opposed to reeling off eight consecutive wins:
"I think obviously if we were playing the same way we were early in the year, this wouldn't be much fun right now, it'd be pretty unpleasant."

"I think that we've got a really good mix of people right now, a group of people that are getting along. A group of people that enjoy playing with one another and a group of people that are going to be around for awhile. So I think it's pretty encouraging that we can play this level of basketball right now."

    [IMG] <font face="Arial"><font size="2">Mickael Pietrus</font></font>
    On tonight?s win:
"I want to thank my team-mates for sharing the ball tonight, I had a good game. I am just happy for our team. I am happy for all our coaches who help make us better each day. I just want to keep bringing this team some energy." On playing with Baron:
"Baron tells me to just stay focused and he?ll find me and tonight my shot was falling."

    [IMG] <font face="Arial"><font size="2">Mike Dunleavy</font></font>
    On ending the season:
"It?s been a pretty dramatic turn around and we were starting to play better right before we got Baron but it?s been huge since he arrived. Were playing with confidence, we?re believing in each other and we?re going out there and just having a good time since were not going to the playoffs. Our season is ending in a couple of weeks and we just want to go out with a bang." On tonight?s crowd:
"The crowd tonight was unbelievable, everyone was really into it."

    On shooting the three-pointer:
"We take a lot of three?s and Phoenix gives up a lot of them and tonight we were fortunate that they were falling. We try not to take so many but tonight we were making them so we kept shooting them."

    [IMG] <font face="Arial"><font size="2">Adonal Foyle</font></font>
"Today was huge because I gave up my body to science at least to the Amare Stoudemire foundation. It was a physical battle and the only thing that would make tonight better was getting a win because we didn?t want to lose. You can take the dunk and everything else, beat me up but we were able to get the win. Everybody really came in and made a contribution."

I love Adonal Foyle's quote [IMG]

He sure made up for that and wasn't about to make "being in a poster" get to him.

P.S.: It must be something about the Suns on our homecourt that gets Foyle all fired up on offensive rebounds. He always has big rebounding games against them.

    http://www.nba.com/games/20050213/PHOGSW/boxscore.html

Above was the boxscore where he got another 11 offensive rebound game against the Suns earlier this season for a total of 20 rebounds.

Did anyone see Pietrus get interviewed after the game on FSN? He was so happy and kinda nervous. He just kept saying "I'm happy for my teamates, I'm happy for my coaches, I'm happy for the fans, I'm Happy!" lol

Then when it was Dunleavy's turn to be interviewed Pietrus just stood there and Dunleavy had to tell him to get lost. It was hilarious.

Well when your first language isn't English, it's hard to really communicate how wonderful it was to beat arguably the best team in the NBA at their full strength and get a career high where you almost were perfect from the field, in addition to doing a little bit of everything (3 assists, getting to the line, playing D on those perimeter shooters).

I thought the dumb interview question by Barnett was "Does it feel like a playoff game?"

That's like somebody asking you, "Does it feel like being President of the United States?" Well, gee, I wouldn't know since I've never been President of the United States. Okay so maybe Pietrus and Dunleavy have been to similar games where the 4th quarter was this intense like the NCAA championship or the French League Cup, but still no Warrior has been to the playoffs except for Fisher, Cheaney, Bdiddy, (Rodney White/Tskitishvilli who DNP) and our Front Office.

Adonal got some sweet payback late, blocking Amare when it mattered. With the W's able to rack up 120,all Foyle needs to do is play D,rebound and avoid mistakes. The avoid mistakes part has been a bit of a challenge at times, but he played well, everybody played well.

Barnett is horrible at interviews. His questions were stupid and didn't dismiss Petey. He should have said "Mickael Pietrus is becoming an integral part of this team's new found success. Thank you Mickael and great game." Instead Barnett says I'm gonna talk to Mike, gets infront of Pietrus and gave Dunleavy a creepy smile saying "how do you feel" or something retarded like that.

    My favorite Pietrus lines were
    - "we ballin"
    - "we so hot"
    "we so hot">"we ballin" IMO

The best part after the game was over was the close up of Stoudemire face. He had a look of disgust and disbelief that the suns had lost the game.

That is if he earns it and doesn't commit any further late game costly mistakes like unecessary over the back fouls or not keeping track of the foul count or the game clock. Foyle could have a big place if he masters those passing skills. If it's one thing Monty loves it's passing big men, especially because it allows the team to move faster off the ball to get open and do a variety of things. The bigger men can usually see over the entire team and hit those cutters streaking to the rim or they can pass it and roll toward the hoop or he can hand off and be a screen for a shooter. Foyle had some absolutely beautiful bounce passes this game that I was caught wondering if it was actually Foyle doing all that. And we know Foyle can hit occasional 20 foot jumpshots to keep the defense honest, even though he can't really hit free throws consistently. He's similar to Marcus Camby's game without the athleticism, consistency or the quickness. Since he gets very few touches a game, for good reason, we'd hate for him to start trying to shoot from the top of the key even though he's shown in the past he's capable of knocking it down if he has to. Just food for thought since Foyle has shown some things he's hardly ever had a chance to do under Musselman which is to actually touch the ball and play a part in setting somebody else up for the bucket. This might be good for Foyle too since he doesn't have to worry about catching it in the paint. [IMG]

Hmm, I don't remember that part, but I'll take your word for it. Even though TV time constraints are something to worry about, you can tell that Barnett is such a DunLover. You swear it was his freakin' bastard son or an object of an unhealthy obsession. I've been ripping on Barnett all season, but all in good fun. He's been hilarious, especially how he overexplains Dunleavy or doesn't say jack at certain times when his boy makes a mistake. Barnett's a good guy, I respect his game philosophy and his knowledge, but man he's so biased and doesn't know how when to be quiet during parts of the game.

Man if I was a Suns fan I'd be disgusted too, but those guys don't play much defense and you figure with all that running they do they'd be more tired than any other team this season. I'm hoping Mullin doesn't fall into the trap that only running and shooting 3's will make us competitive in the real playoffs if we make it there. We'll still need that traditional center/power forward that can mix it up down low and just play solid post D like a Kurt Thomas or a Brian Grant as well as be able to defend in transition and on the weakside. Those are tough requirements and very hard to find, but we'll need those qualities.

Well, there is no question that Webber era started to end when we traded Seikaly for Owens, but it's not because those days were gone because of Seikaly's game play as a center, but because Webber and Spree were ticked off because Nelson traded their friend. Judging from their characters, I think it was a time bomb waiting to explode anyway. It's also funny that when Nelson finally got a dream center, Dampier, he retired before the season end...

Well chemistry is kind of important. Like Kwan mentioned, wasn't this when the Warriors were self destructing anyway? The egos were just killing us.

All I'm saying it's going to be tough for us to find a center/power forward that can run with us as well as slow it down and play the halfcourt set and be able to play soundly on both ends of the floor, create for others and change the game on both ends. Almost like an Adonal Foyle on a good night, except almost bringing it every night, setting the tone. Those are hard requirements, so it's like maybe we can't play the traditional way?
