Well we will see how much character the Timberwolves players have tonight as they go to Atlanta to play the inept Hawks who are playing out the string. Last night was a very tough loss. With that said, why dwell on spilled milk or what might have been. There are six games left and I really hope the guys played well and win those games. It would be nice to finish the year strong at this point.
Agreed Timberwolf, but it would be also nice to give Ebi some minutes and see what he can do and how much he improved. It's about time we get something in return from him.
You know Ebi won't see any minutes. We are in the playoff hunt, and I bet since that we are in the hunt, he won't be seeing any minutes, unfortuneatly because I want to see him in action. Until we are out of it, he won't see anything.
It's true, we're still in the playoff hunt, but I thought at least against Atlanta he could see some minutes. Well he's still on the IL so and we're having more problems against them than I expected... Having this said, as soon as we're out of the playoff hunt, we should give KG a rest and Ebi some minutes.
we lost ohhh **** that season is over with...one of the most dissapointing ugly seasons for this team, i really hope we can come back to the top next year, hope we'll make some good trades and draft a good young pkayer who will see playing time not like ebi...i'm laughting out of missery you can easily replace it with .....
What an embarassing lost to the worst team. A 58-24, title-contending team from last year has an unlikely chance of making the playoffs this year. I mainly blame it on Sprewell for this negative turn-around.
Next year I think there is no doubt that the Timberwolves will be a top 6 seed in the West probably a top 3. 1. Seattle has a lot of free-agents this year. 2. If KG is a true MVP he will bring his team back to NBA contention if a few new faces come to Minnesota.

So now im interested in what will happen this summer
I honestly just shrugged at the loss. Think about it, we had a large lead in the first quarter and was scrounging in the fourth to catch up. How would you feel about it if we won? Not very good. I was like, hmph...oh well. It would have been foolish to have hope in a playoff berth at that point and pray to have a respectable exit. I feel sorry for Garnett though. Is this his second time missing the playoffs (his rookie season)? He constantly brought his game come play time, and it started to look like Timberwolves of yesteryears. TIME TO PACK IT UP. You guys may disagree, but we should do the "Job" (wrestling term) for the rest of the season and see what Ebi can do. He hasn't looked all the good when I've seen him play.

This season is over for good now. They are done. That's all there is to it. This loss to Atlanta is officially the last straw for good. The facial reactions from KG, Wally, and Kevin McHale said it all after the game. With 5 games left, you can forget it now. They are mathematically in, but c'mon. it's over. Wolves self-destructed in the fourth quarter tonight. They haven't done that in awhile, but they let Atlanta make shots down the strech and the Wolves neve recovered. This loss is similiar to the game against the Bobcats at Charlotte where they just fell flat. The back-to-back game took its toll on them. I am with everyone on Ebi. Play him. What are the Timberwolves waiting for? This season is now a lost cause. The only thing salvagable and worth watching is seeing Ebi perform. Ebi is about to be a free agent after next season. I know 5 games is a short sample to judge, but so what. What do the Wolves have to lose with Ebi getting minutes? It's really sad how this season has ended for the Timberwolves. I can't wait for this year to be over. It will be weird not watching this team in the playoffs for sure.
Agreed. I think we should start experimenting with playing some guys that don't get much playing time. This loss is just pathetic. There were so many Hawks in double digits I didn't know what to think.
