    It is more than likely that the Nuggets will win out the season, meaning we still need a win to prevent them taking out the Northwest.

    We play Dallas twice, Houston twice, Minnesota and New Orleans. Right now it is concievable that the Hornets game is the only one we'd start favourites in.

    It's getting tight.

    I know Denver has been hot and playing very well but they got some tough games left..im not sure id say its more then likely they WILL win out..is it possible though.

    We have to have the mindset that they will win out though, and that we need a win to clunch it.

    They have won something like 21 of 23, and both losses came to Phoenix.

    Big game for Seattle would be the meeting of Houston against Denver. It would most likely decide who would face Seattle in the first round of the playoffs and whether Denver could snatch third in the West.

    I was meaning to make a seperate thread but decided against it after seeing this one.
    Who would Seattle fans rather face? Denver or Houston? Denver has been on a roll since the All-Star break but Houston is also a tough team, especially with Yao Ming who almost always has big games against Seattle. Would you guys think you have better chances of winning in a series against Houston or against Denver?

    And they still gotta play Phoenix again i believe..that was my main reason for saying I dont think odds are they will win out.

    Its tough to say really. Im leaning towards preferring Houston because although we do have matchup troubles with Yao (who doesnt though?) I think they will have a lot of trouble guarding us (assuming we dont have Mateen Cleaves and Damien Wilkens starting game 1 of the playoffs).

    Actually, I really want to play Denver now just to stick it to George Karl one more time

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I got a sneaky feeling that we'll see them again," Karl said. "It's a karma. There's a karma to this whole thing. My team is molded like my old Seattle teams. Coming here in the middle of the year. Turning it around and then playing the team that released me. It's a personal thing.

    "Two months ago we were just worried about winning so it's way to early to say we want Seattle or anything like that, but a part of me would like that to happen, yeah."

    </div>

    With a full deck and playing like we did that got us to that fast start - that means tough team defense, crisp ball movement, Fortson with his head in the game, Radmanovic in a groove - we can win that series.

    28-6 ain't no joke so credit goes to George and Denver for turning it around - hell they beat the Supes with Byzdelik in Seattle without Melo and K-mart - but between George and Wes Person they're in the paper a bit much for my liking.

    I would much rather Houston. Rashard always seems to have a personal agenda when he plays the Rockets, and we've won 5 of our last 6 against them, and had ample opportunities to win that 6th one. Obviously both teams are different to last season, but having a good record against a team can have positive psychological effects, as can struggling against a certain team.

    Denver are just absolutely red-hot now, and aren't just beating teams, they are destroying teams.

    At this point it doesn't matter who we play against, so much as who we play with.
