They don't have Duncan. They may lose Rasho too. And, they just played double over time. We should be able to win this game, but who knows?

Jeez, why couldn't we have made the playoffs this year if so many of these postseason teams are dismantled or full of injuries? Maybe we're still cursed in a way. We can see the Warriors at their best now, but maybe not next season given our bad luck like you mentioned. I hope that's not the case and they'll be even better than we've seen so far.

I didn't expect at this time of year I'd look at Warriors at Spurs and be thinking we oughta take this one. In some years past the W's had a lot of injuries. This year, very few, maybe they have upgraded the conditioning?

The Warriors should take this one down no prob. The Spurs without Duncan arn't a playoff team, but are still a pesky team that will compete with confidence as if Duncan were still in the lineup. If Ginobli and to a less extent Parker can be held to average games and not go off for 25+ each, the Warriors should have a fairly easy game on there hands believe it or not. The Warriors have problems with opposing big men, but Rasho and Nazi arn't exactly scary offensively, they will do a decent job on the boards tho.

Ill say the Warriors take this one 107-96.

Hey welcome Murphdog. I think we can take this, there's so much momentum right now that at home, The Arena could be the next Arco back when the Kings were still one of the most dominant home court teams.

BTW dig that Barnett comment about Dunleavy. "Dunleavy is always a cerebral player most of the time". He cracks me up [IMG]

Man I love Pietrus' team spirit. They just showed that clip again where he's pulling on his jersey logo to represent the Warriors. Pietrus is awesome. [IMG]

Spurs up 7 now 26-19. I think if the warriors can just keep it close in until the 4th they have a really good chance, since the SPurs played last night, double OT too.

It would help if they could hit some shots though.

    1st Quarter Analysis

    Spurs 29
    Warriors 25

SA: Parker 11 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist (4-5 FG)
GSW: Foyle 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist (4-5 FG)

Spurs shooting well, Warriors aren't. Pretty much the reason why the Warriors are down 4. I just noticed that Ginobli is out for the Spurs, I think we should take this game.

Spurs inside D minus Tim is much different. Will Adonal have a career high? Poor Andy B just got victimized by ref stupidity, makes it tough to figure out how to play this game if refs get so many calls so wrong. Andy does need to stop committing real fouls too,but it seems he gets a foul every game that's a bad call.

The warriors have to shut down parker, but thats easy said then done. He is so fast off the dribble. Also the warriors always have to watchout for Brent Barry; he always kills the warriors with his 3s.

Warriors took the lead and will never look back. Hopefully this will be a 20+ pt blow out and everyone will get to play. I would even like to see Chaney, but I think he is on the IL...

If the W's attack the rim and don't go perimeter they can put foul pressure on the Spurs frontcourt

Yea, I would like to see a blowout too. I want to see Skita in action.
But the Spurs are tough even with TD and Manu, becuase Popvich is a great coach.

If Foyle played this well more often,Gohn would need to get a kinder sig. Still not enough gap for Shika minutes, but he will get some.

    Halftime Analysis

    Warriors 53
    Spurs 49

SA: Parker 13 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists
GSW: Pietrus 11 points, 3 rebounds (in only 12 min.)

Warriors shooting got hot and Spurs cooled down. But then they outhustled us in this quarter while we outhustled them in the 1st. Kind of switched quarters there. Hopefully we'll pull away in the 3rd.

We need to start rebounding as well and limiting turnovers. I like what Pietrus/ Fisher/Zarko is doing off the bench because our starters settle for too may jump shots when we need to attack the rim. I'd never thought I'd be praising Fisher for attacking the hoop like he is, but we saw him do it. Pietrus just crossed up Bruce Bowen which was also pretty tight. And as far as Andris Biedrins getting bad calls, maybe the kid needs to jaw at the ref and get tossed out of the game and then pull a Dunleavy and send that authentic into the stands.

Well there has been more than one horrible call against the W's tonight so far, you see that call against Murphy? That was garbage. And the Warriors can't possibly shoot any worse from the outside, wide open 3's aren't falling and after last nights barrage of 3's, it just feels weird. All in all, the Warriors are just going through the motions in this one so far, they'l turn it up in the second half like and break it open a little bit I think.

    3rd Quarter Analysis

    Warriors 90
    Spurs 82

SA: Parker 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists
    GSW: Foyle 15 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks (7-9 FG)

Foyle has been awesome. Really glad to see him playing this way the last couple of games. Also BDiddy with the big jam, that was awesome!

I guess you don't get any credit for a subtle deflection, just full smackdow blocks,Foyle gets a lot of no-credit deflections but I guess no triple double tonight
