<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nuggets have eaten all the carrots George Karl has dangled in front of them since the start of their post-all-star break barrage. So after his team ran past the Seattle SuperSonics 121-105 on Saturday night, he came up with a bigger one.

With Denver already having reached the coach's goal of 20 wins after the break, he reset his sights at a number not mentioned in Denver since the preseason.

"We should re-establish the goal of trying to get 50 wins," said Karl, 28-6 as Denver's coach. "I think a 50-win season would be an incredible season, and it's feasible."

Most things seem feasible for a team that wins 21 of 23 games. Denver (45-31) notched its latest victory in front of 19,751 fans at the Pepsi Center, the fourth-largest home crowd in team history.</div>
