Good move if it happens by Tskitishvili. I mean why be stuck here in the states bouncing from team to team when you can go over seas to a team that you can plenty of minutes on and develop better. If I were him I would go back to Europe for about 2-3 years, get some development in your bones and just some hype if you want teams to look at you. Hopefully Nik makes the right choice for his future.

He is still young (22) and has time to develop his game more overseas and come back to the NBA improved later on if he choose to. Makes sense for him.

He has to realize that the plus in 7-0 is more than shooting a 20ft J over short people. He needs to get rough and ruthless inside on both ends of the floor. I don't know if he'd get that in Europe, add what he needs to do well in the NBA,but maybe his game is so geared to Euroleague he will do okay there.

I remember he had sists (sp) in the back of both knees. That's rather disgusting. I'm not sure if he can ever really fix his game, but he won't do it here

I don't recall him having cysts, though I know he was put on the DL for knee problems. I thought that they were fake, just to stash him on the DL. But, maybe they were real?

One of the main problems with fixing his game is that no one is sure what to do with him. He had all the skills of a guard, including above average speed, 3 point range and a good crossover, but he's 7'0" and thus an easy target to get picked by shorter defenders. He wanted to be like Kevin Garnett, but unfortunately, he doesn't play with the same level of defensive intensity. NBA teams were hoping he'd turn into a Gasol, in that he'd get some killer inside moves all of a sudden instead of hanging out on the perimeter. Sometimes, you just have to take what you work with - maybe they should have just let him keep shooting 3's and hope that he'd somehow turn into something vaguely akin to Dirk.

I'm all for Skittles leaving. He won't get a big contract from us I don't think. Also he can come back when he is better [IMG]

Skita is intriguing on paper but in person he's just an awkward player. He's got some shooting skills but is rail thin, plays frail and has no apparent defensive abilities. I do wish him well though.
