no No he doesnt deserve the chance to coach because he hasnt done that well since taking over so he hasnt earned the chance especcially when we can bring in a high-profile and established coach to take over.
Well he's gotten the team to play harder that should count for something. But I dont like his player rotations. I think he should be putting more emphasis on getting the ball to Sweetney and playing him more often in the fourth. I'm also not pleased with the minutes Ariza is getting. On the other hand if Ewing comes over because Herb stays the coach...I might be willing to overlook some of his faults. We dont really need a high profile coach. Van Gundy was'nt a high profile coach when we gave him the head coaching job and that turned out great. Phil has never coached a team that wasn't a championship contender and I dont know if Larry Brown will come over. I'd be willing to give Herb a chance. But one person I'd definetely take over Herb and anyone else is Rick Pitino. Nothing would make me happier than bringing him back in so he can finish the job he started back in the early 90's. And what about Jeff Byzdelic? Is he still available? I liked him. What do you guys think of letting a Pat Riley disciple run the show?
He's the best coach we need because of the trust he has on the players,all the knicks palyers have the confidence in him,I think he has the ability for next year to take us to the playoffs and could get the team to win the Division,and maybe takes us to the finals,but all that comes with the condition of Isiah Thomas,Isiah needs to trust in our system.And if Allan Houston comes back 100% we can be as dominant as anybody in the league.
