I hope Vince Carter doesn't get booed. I admit I was really ticked off at his lack of playing this year but he has done a lot for Toronto as a city and as a team. Everytime my peers bash VC, I just remember how much pride I had in watchign him in the 2001 playoffs and I remember that series against Philly uniting Toronto as one, it was something different, the feeling was just great. So for every bad day he's had from 2002-2004, I think his moments from 1999-2001 overshadow them. Atleast to me, they do. I will not be at the game, but he still has my respect and he will forever remain one of my favourite players. I will be cheering for him on Friday and I'm sure most people at the ACC will too. I still anticipate some mixed reactions but I really hope the cheers overshadow the boos. Had it not been for Vince Carter, there would be a major chance we'd be somewhere else and you guys wouldn't even be talking about his legacy in Toronto. I'm grateful for him as a basketball player and thank him for all the memories he provided in Toronto.

The video is really good After seeing the video, I miss those days when vince proudly played for us. He still looks wierd to me in a Nets jersey. Out of all my friends, I think that I'm going to be the only one routing for Vince on Friday.
The new Slam article helped get rid of my resentment for VC. I think I've made amends with what he did, and hope that he can have a good career. He did too much for this city and team. Still wanna beat the Nets tho.

I wish I were going, I can imagine how emotional and intense the fans will be at the game. Personally I would boo Vince, even though I haven't booed any player before. I can't believe any player would be so disrespectful to his teammates and to fans as to slack off so badly and to get traded in such a sleazy way.
