Not really. Actually, we indirectly pay for his humnogous salary. He actually owes us with all the games he's missed and the games he played haphazardly.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting j_a_d_e:</div><div class="quote_post">wouldn't that be refreshing? kidding aside,i thnk he'd be booed but i hope that it won't affect his game...It's like a no bearing game for the Raps neweiz and the Nets are fighting for a playoff spot...</div>

Clearly you don't know Vince as well as us Raptors fans do. It's a known fact that it will affect his game. VC, as we know is an incredibly, incredibly emotional player. This is a city and team he's been with for almost 8 years. Toronto's been his home for 8 years. This is a city who was deeply in love with him. He will be affected. It's not like this is a team he's been with for a 2-3 seasons. It's much more than that. His superstar status was built here, his career took off here, and a lot, lot more. You can't not be emotional about that.

No one mentioned he also plays well in games that he knows people will be watching. Dunno if any of you realize this, but vince has alot of big games when its been televised nationally or games that receieve alot of attention. I even remember his game vs Phoneix where he had 51 pts...he said something about knowing it was teleised nationally and played hard bc of it.

Yea it just shows how Carter rarely put in a true hard effort.

I hope the nets miss playoffs by one game, and in my mind that will be attributed to the Raptors if we win on Friday. [IMG]

My friend and I were just messing around, and discussing how we think that the last season or so, VC was faking the injury, lol. We were saying how he didn't want to play there anymore. But all of a sudden he comes to NJ and can all of a sudden shoot daggers, and is all healthy. Kind of amusing.

Don't get it twisted, I'm most def. not a Carter hater, he's one of my idols.

We didn't really get shut up. We all know Vince is a very talented guard and imo one of the top 5 sgs in the league...we just dont like his attitude and his personality.

Everything's is nice and rosy right now when the team's winning, but just wait until the team starts to struggle or RJ comes back and takes shots away from him - then his true colours will show.

Either that or just hope you guys keep winning or else you will get the half-assed, "trade me" Vince we are all familiar with in Toronto.

yeah that's what i meant. i didnt exactly mean that his game would be bad in this matchup i meant that it would either make him better or worse. and it turned out to be better. [IMG] and he yes did cry:
