Mehmet Okur is the man! I say lets put him a statue beside of Stockton. Really, I'm not joking; anyone who can beat the Spurs twice in one season needs to be immortalized. Ok, I'm serious now, I can't believe we beat the Spurs this season, but twice is really nice. Okur has shown with Boozer and AK out that he was worth the money we paid him. It looks like he could be one of the few bright spots for us this season.
The Jazz beating the Spurs twice in a season was definitely unexpected. Utah usually really struggle with the Spurs, and up until this season were on a huge losing streak against them. This season Utah has a horrible record as well. Mehmet Okur was huge yet again, and Sloan showed some faith in Giricek to give him 38 minutes.
I recorded the last okur bucket with my family going crazy on my cellphone...... anyone car to see? lol
