No. Philly doesn't have a need for a samll forward right now, if anything we need a backup pure PG and another PF.

True, Philly should use any money to resign Sixers free agents this offseason.

Please tell me this is only a rumor! You guys aren't getting Double T unless you give us Iverson and/or Iguodala. Enough Said!

Save the money and try resign our free agents and maybe another big name. We have had Tim Thomas in the past and he did not fit. Fair enough things are different now but still, i think our own nucleus of young players is more important.

yeah, i think that this won't happen and is just a rumor. i hope it doesn't happen unless tim ends the season terrifically. but if we do get him, which i doubt, we better not give him a long term deal. [IMG] it just kills our cap. by the way, do we have a lot of cap space in off season?

I want to bottle him up for the deadline next year with his expiring contract. I know that Avery is excited about the prospects of him coming to Philly([IMG] j/k) , but let's see what else we [the Knicks] can get for his enormous expiring contract next year. If it weren't for the circumstances of the expiring contract and just how much ammo/bait it is in the NBA I'd say "please take him". But since the NBA is the way it is I say let's examine every possibility of teams looking to make space.

I'll tell you one thing, Philly fans. Having TT on your team is very depressing - you have to watch the most pitiful ballplayer in the league commit so many errors and such that it gets disgusting, really. Good luck with him if the Knicks send him your way.

The funny (or sad) thing is he has all the talent in the world to become a great NBA player...he just doesn't use them for some odd reason.

Tim Thomas would provide Philly with another player who can provide a decent perimeter touch. I don't think Tim will really like playing in Philadelphia though. With Iverson and Webber dominating the ball so much, it will reduce Thomas' opportunities resulting in a very ineffective player.

Well I think this rumor has some legitimacy to it. Kobe is a superstar, Tim is the opposite. Also he does have a house in Philly that he visits during the offseason. I don't think it's 100% junk.
