<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BDiddyJRich:</div><div class="quote_post">Too bad this game isn't on TV. Warriors down 30-24 at the end of the 1st.</div> Pietrus 12 points in 9 mins
Halftime Timberwolves 56 Warriors 48 MIN: Garnett 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block GSW: Pietrus 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal (12 min.) Pietrus again continues to be a scoring machine, hopefully Monty plays him in crunch time. I know Monty is a little worried about playing young guys in key situations, but this is the best time to bring him into this since the season is winding down and stuff. Another thing, Rodney White is playing more to try to show what he can do. Tonight he has 6 points (2-4 FG) and 1 rebound in 6 minutes. Last night he had 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists (6-10 FG) in 22 minutes. These last games of the season will be the deciding factor on his option. But it looks like Skita is gone for good (maybe even out of the NBA and back to Europe).
Warriors not playing well... Judging by the stat only though. That San Antonio losss must have been a huge blow to the team, and I think it has affected there confidence.

But also that Denver game was tough and I think we all understood that even before the loss to the Spurs. Denver did end up giving it their all since they were trying to clinch a playoff berth. The Spurs loss was tough to swallow, but other than that I'm not worried about this team.
Monty needs to dramatically decrease Bdiddy's minutes. The optimism is there now as well as momentum for next year. No reason to risk any more injury. Let the guy rest. 41 minutes is way too much with the games they've been having recently. If he gets injured we're back to square one.
I saw the game and the refs basically kill the warriors momentum. There was a play where the Warriors play excellent D and the ball went out of bpunce to the T-wolves with one second left, one blasted second so what happens next? The Wolves inbound the ball to the farleft side of the the corner the T-wolves take an eternity to take the shot and they make it. All of this in one second PLEASE! I heard of home court advantage but that was ridiculus.
Thanks for doing the thread, Kwan. I heard the game on the radio. It also sounds like our defense was very suspect. Oh and BDiddy is back to his usual bad shot selection. I think the guy's hurt otherwise he would be driving more.
It wasn't a good game but I'm not overly concerned. We learned nothing new, our defense sucks and the ball sits on the perimeter. If B-Davis and J-Rich play badly, we have no chance. We get a post player to control the paint and score/pass from the post, could have been a different sory. We're one step closer to another good draft pick. There are some good propects in our range that have athleticism & skill. Just what we need. We already got our go to guy, we just gotta D up.
If our defense sucks so much and Dunleavy is one of Mully's golden boys, I wouldn't be suprised if Murph is on the trading block this summer because Mullin wants to address this problem now rather than later if he gets hurt. This might do a couple of things for the way our offense is played as well as our defense by having him out of the lineup. I don't like the idea of playing a rookie power forward unless it's Biedrins, or Zarko at power forward and getting outrebounded night to night, but I'm pretty sure the ball movement and defense might improve by doing so. Then again, If we can't get defensive rebounds, then playing defense will just tire us out. I suspect that having Troy Murphy hinders anything the small forwards do for us. I mean Zarko's playing time gets cut and Dunleavy gets like fewer than 8 shots a game sometimes. Without a low post presence, I'd rather have 4 guys that can drive toward the hoop or move off the ball on offense as well as pack a decent catch and shoot game.
The only significant trades likely would be Dunleavy or Fish. Murph=rebounds,Foyle=Defense, and both have large contracts. We can draft a replacement for Dunleavy,or start Pietrus, and Dun's contract is trade friendly. We'd let Fish go relatively cheap,he DOES have championship rings on his hand and to some team that could say something. If we come up with a top RBD guy or a shotblocking C,then maybe Murphy or Foyle go on the trade block. As well as this group has played,Mullie won't be hasty to just dump anyone, though he will listen if there is a generous offer.
